Receptacle assembly for a pluggable module and a communication system having the same
Receptacle assembly includes a receptacle cage having an interior cavity forming first and second module passages. The first and second module passages are configured to receive respective pluggable modules through first and second port openings, respectively, in a loading direction that is parallel to a Z-axis. The receptacle assembly also includes a cage cover positioned at the front end between the first and second port openings. The cage cover includes first and second module fingers. The cage cover also including a ground tab that engages an inner surface of the receptacle cage. The first and second module fingers extend lengthwise in the loading direction. The ground tab extends lengthwise along a Y-axis that is perpendicular to the Z-axis.
Shielding cage for closely spaced cage arrays
A shielding cage with an improved construction is disclosed that permits such cages to be more closely spaced together when a plurality of them are arranged in side-by-side arrays of cages. The cage is formed from a sheet metal blank that is stamped and formed to define sidewalls, top wall, bottom wall and a rear wall. In one embodiment, the ends of the blank are formed with interengaging elements in the form of tabs and slots that interfit within the plane of one of the cage walls, thereby eliminating the need for projections disposed on the sidewalls of the cage.

Image forming apparatus having a control board attached to a support member
An image forming apparatus includes an image forming unit configured to form an image on a recording material; a fixing unit configured to heat the image in order to fix the image to the recording material; a control board; a support member, wherein the control board is attached to the support member; and a mounting portion, wherein the support member is attached to the mounting portion. The support member includes a side wall. A height of the side wall is smaller than twice a distance between the side wall and the connector on the control board under a state in which the control board is attached to the support member, and is larger than a height from a bottom surface of the support member to an upper surface of the control board.

CONNECTOR MODULE ASSEMBLY HAVING A GASKET PLATE
A receptacle assembly includes communication connectors secured together as a communication module each having a contact array arranged within a shroud for mating with a pluggable module. A gasket plate is coupled to the communication module between the communication module and the pluggable modules. The gasket plate has a plurality of openings receiving corresponding shrouds and pluggable module interfaces around each of the openings for interfacing with mating ends of the pluggable modules. The receptacle assembly includes a receptacle housing having a plurality of panels dividing a housing cavity into module cavities. The gasket plate is coupled to the communication module to define a connector module assembly. The connector module assembly is loaded into the housing cavity prior to mounting to the circuit board such that the connector module assembly and the receptacle housing are configured to be mounted to the circuit board as a unit.
