CONNECTION STRUCTURE, STRAP, AND WATCH
A connection structure includes a first foldable plate, a second foldable plate, and an elastic shaft. The first foldable plate includes a first support strip and a second support strip having a first gap therebetween, and a first clamping portion is disposed on two side faces facing each other. The second foldable plate includes a third support strip and a fourth support strip having a second gap therebetween, and a second clamping portion is disposed on two side faces facing away each other. The elastic shaft passes through the second gap, and its two ends are respectively connected to the third support strip and the fourth support strip. When the first foldable plate and the second foldable plate are in a closed state, the third support strip and the fourth support strip are located in the first gap, and the first clamping portion is clamped to the second clamping portion.
Method for configuring a wristwatch strap
The method for configuring a wristwatch strap for a given wearer includes: firstly, acquiring (E1) at least one morphological data item (1; 2) of the wearer of the bracelet; intermediately, automatically determining (E2) at least one optimal bracelet configuration (c*) adapted to the wearer, including determining the adjustment of the length of the bracelet on the basis of the at least one morphological data item (1; 2), the intermediate determining (E2) of the at least one optimal configuration of the bracelet including determining configuration data; and secondly, preparing (E3) the bracelet of the wearer according to an optimal configuration determined in the preceding step.
ADJUSTABLE WATCH STRAP COMPONENT
One variation of a wrist strap buckle includes a tang including: a base configured to pivot about a buckle bar passing through an end of a first strap segment of a wrist strap; and a tongue configured to insert into holes, arranged at a pitch distance, along a second strap segment of the wrist strap. This variation of the wrist strap buckle further includes a buckle frame including a center section, and a lobe extending from the center section and defining an aperture including: a proximal bore configured to receive the buckle bar in a lengthened configuration; a distal bore, offset from the proximal bore by less than the pitch distance, configured to receive the buckle bar in a shortened configuration; and a slot extending between the proximal and distal bores. This variation of the wrist strap buckle further includes a slit extending through the lobe and intersecting the aperture.
ADJUSTABLE BRACELET CLASP
A clasp for a folding-clasp bracelet, the clasp including a cover to which at least a first blade and a second blade are attached, which blades are hinged together and to which blades a first bracelet strand is attached; a first locking mechanism for holding the blades in the closed position on the cover; an actuator including a first and a second push-pieces; a mechanism for adjusting the length of the bracelet, to which a second bracelet strand is attached. The length adjustment mechanism include an end piece sliding inside the cover, the sliding end piece having a toothed sector arranged to cooperate with a second locking mechanism controlled by a push-piece.
Device for adjusting the length of a wristlet
A device for adjusting the length of a wristlet includes: a cover (10); a link element (40) designed to be connected to a wristlet strand (9) and mounted movable relative to the cover (10) in the longitudinal direction in which extends a wristlet strand to be connected to the adjusting link element, such that this displacement of the adjusting link element (40) relative to the cover (10) enables lengthening or shortening the length of a wristlet strand; an actuating device (30) arranged on the cover (10) movable relative to the cover in at least the longitudinal direction; and a kinematic connection connecting the actuating device (30) and the adjusting link element (40), such that the actuation of the actuating device (30) in at least the longitudinal direction relative to the cover (10) can bring about the longitudinal displacement of the adjusting link element (40) relative to the cover (10).
Watch device having movable components
A watch device, more particularly an external watch device comprising two components (1, 21) linked to one another, the first component (1) comprising a first guiding element (10) and the second component (21) comprising a second guiding element (30), the two components being linked to one another in a movable manner by the cooperation of their respective guiding elements (10, 30), wherein the first guiding element (10) comprises a guiding surface in contact at least partially with the second guiding element (30), said guiding surface comprising a polymer material belonging to the family of polyaryl ether ketones (PAEK).
BAND LENGTH EXTENSION MECHANISM, BAND, AND TIMEPIECE
There is provided a band length extension mechanism that allows switching between a folded state and a deployed state, the band length extension mechanism including: an adjustment link; a link piece; an extension piece that couples the adjustment link and the link piece to each other; and a locking member, in which the extension piece is rotatably coupled to the adjustment link at a first shaft and is rotatably coupled to the link piece at a second shaft, in the folded state, the extension piece is stored in an overlapping manner with the adjustment link and the link piece, in the deployed state, the adjustment link, the extension piece, and the link piece are deployed and extended, the locking member is slidably provided on one surface of the adjustment link, and in the folded state, the locking member is engaged with the extension piece to achieve locking.
ADJUSTABLE WATCH CLASP AND METHOD OF USING THEREOF
An adjustable watch clasp and a method of using thereof are disclosed. The adjustable watch clasp may have a first clasp section and a second clasp section. The first clasp section may be part of a suspension system that actively adjusts the spacing between the first clasp section and an adjacent watch band link to provide needed spacing when a user is wearing a watch band with the adjustable watch clasp. The active adjustment may be needed for when the user wearing the watch band jerks or accelerates his or her wrist and the first clasp section and the adjacent link need to expand away from each other to create spacing for the tightness of the watch band to not bother the user. The second clasp section may have a micro-adjuster mechanism that allows the user to manually adjust the tightness of the watch band having the second clasp section.
