Fire protection element
A fire protection element is useful for the separation of openings passing through walls or ceilings, and in particular useful for line passages. The fire protection element has a molded part with a honeycomb structure made from intumescent material.
Fire protection sleeve
A firestop collar (10) for sealing of openings, especially of line penetrations (12), that pass through walls (11) or ceilings has a frame (16) and a block (20) of optionally intumescent material disposed therein, and is characterized in that an intumescent inlay (22) is disposed between the block (20) and the frame (16).
System for providing a fire safe sealing in an aperture in a wall, a ceiling or a floor of a building, an element for a fire safe sealing system and a bulkhead for a fire safe sealing in the aperture
The disclosure relates to a system for providing a fire safe sealing in an aperture in a wall, a ceiling or a floor of a building, consisting of at least two block shaped sealing elements with two main surfaces being oriented parallel to each other and at least three lateral faces connecting the main surfaces to each other, of which at least one element is made from mineral fibres and a binding agent, whereby lateral faces being arranged adjacent to each other, or lateral faces and main surfaces being arranged adjacent to each other, incorporate an angle being unequal to 90° and whereby each element is shorter than the length of the aperture and smaller than the height of the aperture.
Hazardous environment conduit sealing
A conduit fitting for a hazardous environment includes a main body that has a distal portion and a proximate portion. The main body includes a longitudinal bore with openings at each of the distal portion and the proximate portion. The opening is configured to receive ends of a conduit. The fitting includes a first sealing region that includes a crimp feature configured to be crimped and a second sealing region adjacent the first sealing region. The second sealing region is configured to house a sealing component.
Cast in Place Device
A first firestop device and a second firestop device, each comprising a housing. The housing of the first firestop device has a connection side with a plurality of connection elements and the housing of the second firestop device has a complementary side with a complementary element. The connection elements are each arranged at a different location on the connection side of the housing of the first firestop device, so that a position of the first firestop device relative to the second firestop device, when the connection side of the housing of the first firestop device is interlocked with the complementary side of the housing of the second firestop device, is selectable by selecting which of the connection elements of the first firestop device is connected to the complementary element of the second firestop device.
DOUBLE-WALLED CABINET WITH EXTERNAL ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
Methods for installing electronic connections into a Factory Mutual certified cabinet may comprise providing a double walled cabinet. The double walled cabinet ay comprise an outer cabinet wall, and inner cabinet wall, and an airgap between the inner cabinet wall and the outer cabinet wall. The method may comprise the steps of including a first large hole in a surface of the outer cabinet wall and including a first small hole in a surface of the inner cabinet wall. Methods can additionally include the steps of inserting a first bulkhead fitting into the first small hole in the surface of the inner cabinet wall via the first large hole and covering the first large hole in the surface of the outer cabinet wall. Methods may additionally include the first small hole at least partially overlapping the first large hole when viewed from a plane normal to the first large hole.
Cable tray firestop device
A firestopping apparatus including a housing defined by first and second housing members. Each housing member includes a width direction wall panel and a height direction wall panel. The width direction wall panel of the first housing member is configured to connect with the height direction wall panel of the second housing member and the width direction wall panel of the second housing member is configured to connect with the height direction wall panel of the first housing member to define an assembled housing with a through passage. Intumescent material is positioned along an inner surface of each wall panel. A compressible foam is positioned within the intumescent material and substantially closes off the through passage.
CONDUIT FITTING
A conduit fitting is provided herein. The conduit fitting may be configured to couple to an electrical mechanical tubing (EMT) often used in a fire suppression system. The conduit fitting may include an upper cylindrical section and a lower conical section. The upper cylindrical section and the lower conical section can both include a slit extending partially through the conduit fitting.
