There is provided a supporting member having excellent durability and an apparatus including the supporting member. The supporting member includes an elastic member and a plurality of block members formed thereon. The supporting member is deformable from a shape in which end surfaces of the block members are in contact with each other to a shape in which the end surfaces are separated from each other. The elastic member includes a fixed region whose deformation is restricted by being fixed to a bottom surface of the block member, and the supporting member includes a flexure reduction unit for reducing flexure at a position near the fixed region of the elastic member.

An in-line housing for maintaining a cable posture includes first and second barrels having first and second bores, respectively. The first and second barrels are mounted for movement with respect to each other into and out of a neutral arrangement. When the first and second barrels are arranged in the neutral arrangement, the first and second bores are coaxially registered with each other and enable rotational movement of a cable with respect to the housing when the cable is applied to the first and second barrels. When the first and second barrels are arranged out of the neutral arrangement, the first and second bores are skewed with respect to each other and disable rotational movement of the cable with respect to the housing when the cable is applied to the first and second barrels.

There is provided a supporting member having excellent durability and an apparatus including the supporting member. The supporting member includes an elastic member and a plurality of block members formed thereon. The supporting member is deformable from a shape in which end surfaces of the block members are in contact with each other to a shape in which the end surfaces are separated from each other. A connecting arrangement having connecting elements for connecting two adjacent members of a line guiding device, comprising members which are connected together in a row in the longitudinal direction. The members each have two side wall segments which are arranged spaced in the transverse direction and delimit a receiving space. The side wall segments in the installation position are respectively connected by way of a connecting element to the associated side wall segment of the respectively adjacent member. To simplify the structure, production and assembly and for easier cleaning of the line guiding device it is provided that the connecting elements provided for connecting the side wall segments of two adjacent members are connected together at a mutual spacing by way of a transverse member with the formation of a base unit of the connecting arrangement.

The present disclosure relates to a submersible apparatus (1) for testing a submarine high voltage (HV) cable system. The apparatus (1) includes a cable termination (100) including an electrical insulator (101) and a shielding electrode (102) for the electrical connection with a cable end (201). The apparatus (1) additionally includes a cable bend restrictor (300) having a through channel (301), and a termination locking (400) in through communication with the cable bend restrictor (300) and the cable termination (100). According to another aspect, a method for testing a submarine high voltage (HV) cable apparatus using the above to testing apparatus (1) is additionally disclosed.

Provided is a support module for a transmission line sleeve. The support module for the transmission line sleeve includes a plate formed of a flexible material that extends in a longitudinal direction so as to be bent and spread, and a support block coupled along a longitudinal direction of the plate and disposed in plurality adjacently to each other. The support block includes a plurality of lower bodies coupled to the plate at a certain interval, and an upper body coupled to an upper surface of each of the lower bodies so as to form a load supporting portion in which a portion of the upper surface of the lower body is exposed.
