Power distribution system

A power distribution system includes a track having a first end, a second end opposite the first end, and a longitudinal axis extending through the first and second ends. The track defines a channel extending along the longitudinal axis. A plurality of power cables is positioned within the channel. The power distribution system further includes an electrical hub having a body coupled to the second end of the track. A plurality of wafers is supported by the body and stacked on top of each other to define a set of terminals. The set of terminals is electrically connected to the plurality of power cables. A power receptacle is supported by the body and electrically connected to the plurality of wafers.

Modular wall-mounted electrical circuit device system

A modular wall-mounted electrical circuit device assembly includes an electrical junction box, a modular circuit device, and a cover plate. The junction box has an open front, and is wall-mounted with exposed ends of building wiring disposed therein. The modular circuit device includes a base unit and an interchangeable device module and is installed in the junction box via the open front. The base unit has a junction box liner defining a main cavity having an open front and a closed rear, exterior electrical connection points connected to the building wiring, electrical contacts disposed in the rear, and a first electrical interconnect assembly connecting the electrical contacts to the connection points. The interchangeable device module has a forward-facing circuit device, rearward-facing electrical contacts, and a second electrical interconnect assembly. The interchangeable device module is removably installed in the main cavity, via its open front, with the respective contacts plugged together.

Electrical connection point mounted in a wall in a dwelling and electrical installation comprising at least one such connection point

An electrical connection point configured to electrically connect an electric load in a dwelling to a power grid. The connection point includes: a wall block, including first connection elements, the wall block configured to be mounted securely in a wall of the dwelling such that the first connection elements are electrically connected to corresponding portions of the grid; and a functional block configured to provide a specific electric function and including second connecting elements, wherein the functional block is configured to be removably mounted in the wall block, and thus interchangeable, the attachment providing the electrical connection of the second connection elements to the corresponding portions of the grid via the first connection elements, to allow the electric function to be brought into service.

WALL CAVITY ELECTRICAL CUPBOARD SYSTEM

A wall cavity electrical cupboard system is provided for allowing flush mounting with ready electrical access wiring that is received through holes of the cavity container and can feed along the circumferential channel and into holes of the template openings and can be connected to control means in the electrical mounting module mounted on the support brackets such as fuses, surge protectors, short circuit protection cutoffs etc. Only the front switches or indicators appear through cut outs. The channel and the template openings provide a benefit that the wiring therefore can be selectively moved around and readily connected without needing to line up the holes of the cavity container and the electrical container and with adjustability and safety of placing wiring connection behind the sealing protector plate covering the opening except for what is allowable to show through the cutouts and be mounted on the support brackets.

A lighting-junction-box-assembly-for-remodel (assembly) has a lighting-junction-box, leg-springs attached to the lighting-junction-box, and mounting-tabs attached to the lighting-junction-box. The leg-springs are used to (temporarily) hold (by friction) the assembly within a hole in an existing ceiling, sized to fit the assembly. While the leg-springs are (temporarily) holding the assembly within the hole in the existing ceiling, other/different holes within extension-portions of the mounting-tabs are used to secure the entire assembly to the existing ceiling, via mechanical fasteners passing through the extension-portion holes and into the existing ceiling. An existing ceiling may be retrofitted with this assembly to have a lighting-junction-box where desired/needed in that existing ceiling; and as such, this assembly is particularly useful in remodeling situations (applications); however, the assembly may also be used in new construction. The assembly may also include a second junction-box to offload some of the circuitry that would otherwise be included within a lighting can.

Flush wallplate electrical box assembly
