Wall mounted rail system
10535985 · 2020-01-14 ·

A wall mounted rail system for providing additional air flow and electrical outlets to a room. The system includes a first rail removably securable to a second rail, wherein each rail includes a front surface and a rear surface. The rear surface can secure to a wall and a decorative molding, such as chair rail molding, is secured to the front surface. A plurality of ports are disposed on a bottom face of the front surface and can supply power to a device connected to each port. Further, each port is electrically connected to one another. Tubing extends through an interior volume of each rail and plurality of apertures are disposed on a top face of the front surface thereof. Each aperture is in fluid communication with the tubing to allow air to flow from the tubing, through the apertures, and into the room.

Attachment for an Electrical Box

An attachment can secure an electrical box to a support structure without the use of fasteners. An attachment body can be configured to be secured to the support structure. One or more engagement arrangements can include first and second arms that are configured to engage first and second mounting openings of an electrical box without use of a separate fastener.

Expanded two-gang electrical box

A wall-mounted enclosure having a standard forward-facing opening but also having an expanded enclosure behind the opening. The opening allows the use of conventional prior art components (such as cover plates). The expanded enclosure allows a more generous bend radius for the creation of a service loop in a fiber optic cable or similar component.

UTILITY CONDUIT SYSTEM

A utility conduit system includes a base having a bottom wall, a first side wall extending from the bottom wall, and a second side wall extending from the bottom wall at least partially defining a channel. Various components can be removably positioned in the base to customize the utility conduit system for a given location. Some components can include a universal mounting bracket, a by-pass unit, and a divider bracket.

Electrical power outlet strip

Disclosed herein is an electrical power outlet strip having a longitudinal extending housing including a base housing portion and a plurality of covers for attachment to said base housing portion along the longitudinal direction; and a plurality of electrical wires placed inside the housing. Each cover has same dimensional measurements and may be a sealing cover or a socket cover. A sealing cover has no hole for receiving an external plug. Whereas a socket cover provides plug holes for receiving an external plug. The electrical power outlet strip may have all sealing covers, all socket covers, or a combination of sealing covers and socket covers.

CONDUCTION PATH

Provided is a technique that improves the heat dissipation properties of a wire that is arranged in a conduction path. A conduction path has a wire, a routing member that is made of a metal and has a routing groove in which the wire is routed, a bracket that is made of a metal and has a first mounting portion that is mounted to the routing member and has a second mounting portion that is mounted to an electrical connection box, and a heat transfer member that is made of a synthetic resin having a higher heat conductivity than air and is arranged in the routing groove and interposed between the wire and the routing member, in a region that corresponds to a portion of the routing member to which the first mounting portion is mounted.

THEATRE RACEWAY ASSEMBLY FOR ELECTRICAL AND COMMUNICATION DISTRIBUTION
20190288495 · 2019-09-19 ·

A theatre raceway comprising an outlet assembly and a back shell. The outlet assembly includes an electrical component mounted to an outlet frame having wire stays for guiding an electrical wire (e.g., a communication wire or a power wire). The wire stays are spaced apart to facilitate access to the wires. The back shell is secured to the outlet assembly and covers the wire stays. In one embodiment, the raceway further comprises an alignment feature that aligns the back shell with the outlet assembly. For example, the alignment feature can comprises a tab on the outlet assembly and a recess on the back shell. The raceway can also include a fastener securing the back shell to the outlet assembly, wherein the fastener includes a head positioned in a recessed portion of the back shell.

Easily installed versatile electrical access system using magnetic electrical connectors

A support is configured to be attached to and supported by a surface and to a channel running from the first end to the opposing second end of the support. The support carries a first magnetic electrical connector in a first end of the channel and a second magnetic electrical connector, wired to the first, in the opposing, second end of the channel. The first magnetic electrical connector is in electrical connection with the second magnetic electrical connector via at least one electrical conductor. An electrical current applied to the first magnetic electrical connector is conveyed by that electrical conductor to the second magnetic electrical connector. Wiring is directed through holed in the support to access points in the outer surface of the support where the user may access electrical current for operating appliances, charging batteries, and passing digital information. The supports may be decorative molding such as baseboards, crown molding, and chair rails.
