A kit for recessed mounting of one or more electrical components within an electrical floor box. The kit includes a leveling ring for mounting an electrical component within the floor box, a funnel with a keystone opening therein, a trim ring with a recessed surface, a cover, and an optional divider for dividing the electrical floor box into high and low voltage compartments. A keystone opening on the funnel provides access to a low voltage holder. The low voltage holder includes a pocket to accommodate snap-in mounting of a low voltage component therein. The leveling ring enables leveling the electrical component with the floor surface. Fasteners secure the trim ring to the funnel and the leveling ring. Securing the cover to the recessed surface of the trim ring provides a recessed floor box assembly with the cover recessed below the floor surface.

ELECTRICAL FLOOR BOX COVER

A floor cover assembly for a floor box assembly that includes a lid and a base ring. The base ring can have a slotted portion that is sized to accommodate at least partial slideable displacement of the lid, and which includes an opening that extends through the base ring. The lid or the base ring can include a plurality of locking tabs, and the other of the lid and the base ring can include a plurality of lock grooves. The locking tabs can each comprise an overhang that are sized to be received in an open end of a mating lock groove. The lock grooves can be shaped to accommodate displacement of the plurality of locking tabs within the mating lock groove, such as in connection with a slide-and-lock attachment. The lid can also be manufactured to include a lid cover having a three-dimensional image.

Electrical box assembly with an adjustable voltage divider

An electrical box comprising an adjustable voltage divider may include a housing comprising an inner surface and ribs or threads integrally formed on the inner surface of the rectangular housing. A voltage divider plate may be disposed within the housing with vertical edges of the voltage divider plate extending along and held in place between the ribs or threads integrally formed on the inner surface of the housing, the voltage divider plate dividing the housing into a high voltage area and a low voltage area. The voltage divider plate area may comprise a plurality of horizontal guide lines vertically offset from each other, and a plurality of vertical guide lines horizontally offset from each other and intersecting the plurality of horizontal score lines. Upper outer corners of the voltage divider plate may be inwardly disposed from the vertical edges of the voltage divider plate.

POKE-THROUGH ELECTRICAL OUTLET ASSEMBLY WITH LEVELING BEZEL

An electrical outlet assembly is mountable in a floor or work surface, and includes an upper bezel and a lower insert that are joined in a non-rigid manner that permits some adjustment to the spacing and/or tilt of the upper bezel relative to the lower insert. The upper bezel and lower insert are joined together by a plurality of fasteners extending between a plurality of fastener receivers coupled to the upper bezel, and to the lower insert. At least one end of each coupling fastener is loosely captured in such a way that when the coupling fasteners are fully secured, they are permitted to move axially relative to the fastener receiver or the lower insert. This allows the lower insert to be repositionable in its axial direction relative to the upper bezel, and also permits the lower insert to be tilted out of alignment with the upper bezel.

In-floor electrical fitting

An in-floor electrical fitting includes a lower body, an upper body detachably connected to the lower body, and at least one detachable retention clip movable between a first position in which a portion of the at least one detachable retention clip extends outwardly past a periphery of the body and a second position in which the portion of the at least one detachable retention clip is moved inward from the periphery of the body. An angular position of the upper body may be reconfigurable relative to the lower body into at least two different orientations.

FLOOR POWER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM

A connection arrangement for a floor power distribution system includes a hub arrangement configured to distribute electrical power and including a hub housing and an electrical connector, the hub housing configured to abut a floor, and an adapter configured to engage the hub housing of the hub arrangement and configured to abut the floor, wherein at least a portion of the adapter is cantilevered over at least a portion of the hub housing, wherein the portion of the adapter that is cantilevered over the portion of the hub housing is vertically aligned with the electrical connector of the hub arrangement.

Floor power distribution system

A floor power distribution system that includes a power distribution junction assembly including a first housing configured to abut a floor surface, a pair of receptacle junction assemblies each including a second housing configured to abut the floor surface, and a pair of raceway assemblies each including an elongated raceway including a longitudinally extending channel, a pair of ramps each coextending with the elongated raceway on opposite sides thereof, each ramp including a proximate edge that engages the elongated raceway and having a first thickness, and a distal edge having a second thickness that is less than the first thickness, wherein the elongated raceway and the elongate ramp are configured to be located between the floor surface and a floor covering in an area frequented by foot traffic.

RECESSED FLOOR FITTING AND COVERS THEREFORE

A recessed floor fitting includes a poke-through housing, a divider assembly, and a feeder plate. The poke-through housing has a base and an outer wall with an open top that defines an interior chamber. The base includes a central aperture, a first perimeter aperture, and a second perimeter aperture. The divider assembly separates the interior chamber into a center portion, a first portion, and a second portion. The center portion is in communication with the center aperture. The first and second portions are in communication with the respective first and second perimeter apertures. The feeder plate is connected to the base, and has a mounting flange and a conduit extending from the mounting flange.

Electrical power or data distribution system

An electrical power or electronic data distribution system includes a power supply or electronic data module that receives electrical power or electronic data signals from a source, a flat-conductor strip for routing electrical power or electronic data along a generally planar surface such as a floor, wall, room divider, or ceiling, and a power or data output block.
