Device and method for the detection of wear on a sliding contact and brushgear system

A device and method for detection of wear of a sliding contact which may be displaced along a brushgear, includes a sensor and a measurement indicator designed for detection by the sensor. The sensor and the measurement indicator approach or move away from each other by a shortening of the sliding contact caused by wear, and a brushgear system. The problem of enabling simple, reliable detection of the practically complete wear of the sliding contact is addressed by the sensor being designed for contactless and/or contacting detection of the measurement indicator, and by means of a brushgear system having a device of this kind, and also a method of this kind in which the sensor detects the measurement indicator becoming closer to the sensor contactlessly and/or contactingly and, when a threshold value for a predetermined wear of the sliding contact is exceeded, issues a warning signal.

Motor with Bidirectional Terminals

An embodiment of the present invention relates to a cover assembly and a motor comprising same, the cover assembly comprising: a cover plate; a ground terminal disposed on the cover plate; and a capacitor connected to the ground terminal by means of a wire. The ground terminal comprises: a body unit; a ground unit bent from one area of the upper end of the body unit to a first direction; clip units extending from both sides of the body unit to a second direction that is opposite from the first direction; and a coupling unit extending from the lower part of the body unit. The wire is coupled to the clip units by means of insertion. Accordingly, the present invention enables the wire of the capacitor to be fixed in a temporarily assembled state and thus enables an automation process during assembly of the motor.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MONITORING THE STATUS OF ONE OR MORE COMPONENTS OF AN ELECTRICAL MACHINE

Example brush holder assemblies of an electric machine are disclosed. An example brush holder assembly of an electric machine includes a carbon brush including an upper surface and a lower surface opposite the upper surface. The brush holder assembly also includes one or more lead wires extending out of the carbon brush at an insertion point on the upper surface and a first cavity extending into the carbon brush from the upper surface at a location spaced away from the insertion point of the one or more lead wires and unobstructed by the one or more lead wires.

ROTARY ELECTRICAL MACHINE WITH IMPROVED POWER ELECTRONICS

The invention relates mainly to a rotary electrical machine for a motor vehicle, comprising: a heat dissipater (65); two power modules (50) integrated in the heat dissipater (65), each comprising rectifier elements (53) which form three rectifier bridge arms (52), connection terminals (58) associated with the rectifier bridge arms (52), and a control unit which can control the rectifier bridge arms; and a connector (61) which establishes electrical connections, in particular between the terminals (58) for connection of the power modules (50) and the phase outputs of the rotary electrical machine.

Motor

A motor includes a brush holder fitted into an opening portion of a cylindrical housing in which a rotor is housed, and a terminal fixed to the brush holder. The brush holder includes a holder section inserted into the opening portion of the housing, a connector section that is provided in a position protruding from an outer edge portion of the holder section in a radial direction and that is connected to an external terminal, and a linking section that links the holder section and the connector section. The terminal is fixed to the linking section.

Permanent Magnet Motor and Home Appliance Having the Same

A permanent magnet motor and a home appliance including the permanent magnet motor are provided. The permanent magnet motor includes a stator and a rotor rotatable relative to the stator. The rotor includes a rotary shaft, a rotor core fixed to the rotary shaft, a commutator fixed to the rotary shaft and adjacent the rotor core, and a rotor winding wound around poles of the rotor core and electrically connected with the commutator. The stator includes a cylindrical housing, a permanent magnet mounted to an inner surface of the housing, and brushes in sliding contact with the commutator. A ratio of an outer diameter of the rotor core to an outer diameter of the housing is 60% to 85%, and a wire diameter of the rotor winding is 0.12 mm to 0.23 mm. The present invention can provide higher output power without increasing sizes of the motor.

Electric motor

An electric motor includes a yoke having a cylindrical section, two pairs of permanent magnets disposed at an inner circumferential surface of the cylindrical section to oppose each other, and an armature rotatably supported further inside in a radial direction than the permanent magnets, wherein at least a pair of first flat sections opposing each other in the radial direction are formed at the cylindrical section, and the permanent magnets are disposed at positions distant from the first flat sections.

Motor pump

A motor pump includes a base body, a pump, and a motor. The motor includes a tubular yoke having a bottom and an opening on a base body side, a bearing, a rotation shaft, a rotor, a commutator, a brush and a brush shaft.
