A liquid pump/motor combination powered by an electric motor, preferably, an oil pump or reducing-agent pump with an electric motor, a positive displacement pump and a bearing shield arranged between the electric motor and the positive displacement pump. The liquid pump/motor combination comprises a positive displacement pump; an electric motor; and a bearing shield having a contact face, the bearing shield arranged between the electric motor and the positive displacement pump. A spherical bearing is accommodated in the bearing shield, the spherical bearing, under application of a force, being able to swivel to a limited extent. A connecting shaft is accommodated in the spherical bearing. The connecting shaft is positioned between the electric motor and the pump. An annular bearing gap, filled with liquid, is between the inside diameter of the spherical bearing and the connecting shaft. The arrangement functions as a hydrodynamic sliding bearing.

The rotary unit includes a shaft, a magnet, and a rotor holder for holding the magnet on an inner circumferential surface thereof The rotor holder includes a top surface portion extending in a direction orthogonal to a center axis, a first surface portion extending radially outward from a radial outer end portion of the top surface portion, a second surface portion positioned axially below the top surface portion and having an outer diameter larger than an outer diameter of the first surface portion, a first connecting portion arranged to connect a radial outer end portion of the first surface portion and a radial outer end portion of the second surface portion, and a second connecting portion arranged to connect the radial outer end portion of the top surface portion and a radial inner end portion of the second surface portion.

MOTOR VEHICLE STARTER WITH REINFORCED SEALING

Starter (1), in particular for a motor vehicle, comprising:a casing (3);a rear bearing (5) secured to a rear end of the N casing (3);a seal between the rear bearing (5) and the casing (3); the starter (1) further comprising:a lateral opening along the outer periphery (32) of the casing (3);a grommet (37), mounted in the lateral opening, for leading electric wires, which supply power to the starter (1), through the casing (3).

Downhole electric submersible pumps with high rotordynamic stability margin

An electric submersible pump is provided which has improved vibrational characteristics relative to conventional electric submersible pumps. The improved electric submersible pumps comprise an electric motor mechanically coupled to a pumping section. The improved vibrational characteristics of the electric submersible pump are attributed to the presence of one or more rotor bearings selected from the group consisting of herringbone patterned rotor bearings, pressure dam rotor bearings, circumferential groove rotor bearings, and combinations of two or more of any of the foregoing rotor bearings.

DRAIN PUMP AND WASHING MACHINE USING THE SAME

A drain pump has a sealed cavity formed by a motor base and a pump casing. A partition plate divides the cavity into a motor cavity, and a pump impeller cavity. A side of the partition plate facing the motor cavity is provided with a bearing base. Another side facing the pump impeller cavity comprises a plane; a bearing mounted in the bearing base penetrates through the two cavities. The bearing in the pump impeller cavity slightly protrudes from the plane of the partition plate, and is tightly attached to a pump impeller in the pump impeller cavity, to form a second contact. The pump impeller and a pump impeller shaft are subjected to integral injection molding. The pump impeller shaft is tightly fixed in the bearing, penetrates through the partition plate, enters the motor cavity, and is connected with the pump shaft in the motor cavity.

An electric machine includes a housing, a shaft, which is rotatably supported in the housing, a stator, which is received in the housing, and a rotor, which is received in the housing and interacts with the stator. A planetary gear train, accommodated in the housing, connects the rotor and the shaft with one another.

Brushless electric motor

Brushless electric motor for an electric handheld power tool, wherein the electric motor has an end plate and a Hall board which is arranged on the end plate, wherein the Hall board is axially fixed to the end plate by an elastic O-ring.

Motor bearing with rotor centralization

Systems and methods for reducing vibration in an electric motor using rotor bearing assemblies that are positioned within a bore of the stator to support the motor's shaft and rotor sections so that they can rotate within the stator bore. Each rotor bearing assembly includes an outer bearing and an inner bearing sleeve that rotates within the bearing. The bearing is secured so that its rotation within the stator is inhibited, but it can move axially. Each end of the bearing sleeve has a conically tapered contact surface which contacts and secures the corresponding rotor section and centers the rotor section with respect to the axis of rotation of the bearing. The contact surfaces of the rotor sections may be chamfered at an angle complementary to the tapered contact surface of the bearing sleeve to distribute the contact pressure between them over a greater contact surface area.

Ventilation fan having air bearing system

A ventilation fan includes a shaft assembly, a rotor, a motor housing, and a bearing housing. The shaft assembly defines a first port and a second port. The rotor has a rotor first portion disposed about a first portion of the shaft assembly and a rotor second portion that extends from the rotor first portion. The rotor first portion defines a rotor port. The motor housing is disposed about a second portion of the shaft assembly. The motor housing defines a housing port. The bearing housing is operatively connected to the motor housing. The bearing housing is disposed about a third portion of the shaft assembly.
