An electromotive drive being a commutator motor has a motor shaft being rotatably mounted on axially opposite sides in shaft bearings which are each covered by an end plate. A damping system for damping sound is arranged on that bearing side, which is averted from the end plate, of at least one of the shaft bearings. The damping system has an annular sealing disk and an annular sliding disk with an integrated spring element.

A spherical bearing is accommodated in the bearing shield, the spherical bearing, under application of a force, being able to swivel to a limited extent. A connecting shaft is accommodated in the spherical bearing. The connecting shaft is positioned between the electric motor and the pump. An annular bearing gap, filled with liquid, is between the inside diameter of the spherical bearing and the connecting shaft. The arrangement functions as a hydrodynamic sliding bearing.

The bushing has: a fixed portion fixed to a core inner peripheral surface, the fixed portion having a first end surface facing a bearing end surface, and a first inner peripheral surface facing an outer peripheral surface with first clearance in between; and a housing having a second inner peripheral surface with a greater diameter than the first inner peripheral surface, on the one side of the fixed portion. An oil repellent finish is applied to a surface of the bushing. The washer is placed radially inward of the second inner peripheral surface. Second clearance greater than the first clearance is between the bearing end surface and the first end surface.
