A rotating electrical machine has a magnetic field-producing unit, an armature with armature windings for multiple phases, and a rotor implemented by one of the magnetic field-producing unit and armature. The armature winding of each phase has a conductor portion. The conductor portion is made of a bundle of wires and has a resistance value between the bundled wires larger than that within each of the wires. Each conductor portion includes magnet facing portions arranged at a given interval away from each other and face the magnet unit. The magnet facing portions of the same phase are connected in series. The wires of the conductor portion of the same phase are connected in parallel. The order of locations of the wires of each of the magnet facing portions for the same phase is different between given portions of the magnet facing portion in an axial direction of the rotor.

Motor and blower

A motor includes a stationary portion, a rotating portion, and a bearing portion. The rotating portion includes a shaft that rotates about a central axis extending vertically. The stationary portion includes a bearing housing, a stator, and a circuit board. The circuit board is above the stator and includes an insertion hole that permits insertion of the bearing housing. The stator includes a stator core, an insulator, a coil, and a terminal pin. The terminal pin is connected to a conductive wire and connected to the circuit board via a solder portion covered with a coating layer. The insulator includes a base portion and a wall portion. The wall portion protrudes upward from the base portion, is radially outward of the bearing housing, and contacts a radially inner surface of the circuit board at the insertion hole.

The motor housing has a bottomed tubular shape that includes a bottom portion on a side of the inverter assembly, and the inverter assembly includes an inverter housing including a circuit board housing that houses a circuit board and a busbar holder. The busbar holder is on a side opposite to a terminal that is electrically connected to the circuit board with respect to the shaft in the circuit board housing.

The motor also has a motor shaft and a magnet carrier which is arranged coaxially in relation to the motor shaft and has at least one permanent magnet which is arranged on an outer periphery of the magnet carrier. The motor shaft and the magnet carrier are of integral design by way of the motor shaft and the magnet carrier being jointly produced from an individual starting metal sheet by shaping to form an integrally shaped rotor body. There is also described a wet-rotor pump and a domestic appliance having an electric drive motor of this kind.

A lower portion of the insulator includes a guide radially outward of the coils and including a wall extending downward from a lower surface of the insulator and a bend extending radially outward from a lower end of the wall. At least a portion of the drawn-out wire extends in a circumferential direction along a radially outer surface of the wall.

The impeller includes a cup portion that covers the motor, and blades extending radially outward from the cup portion and arranged in a circumferential direction. A gap is provided between the cup portion and the base portion such that the gap becomes narrower in an outward direction with increasing distance from an interior of the cup portion.
