In a rotating electric machine, a cylindrical portion is provided on a radially inner side of a stator core. An opposing plate portion extends toward a radially outer side from the cylindrical portion. In a rotor, a magnet portion is fixed on an inner circumferential surface, a circular cylindrical portion is provided on the radially outer side of a stator winding, and a connecting portion extends toward the radially inner side. At least respective portions that oppose the magnet portion in the axial direction of the stator core, the circular cylindrical portion, and the connecting portion contain a magnetic material. A shield portion is provided in a portion that opposes the magnet portion in the axial direction of the opposing plate portion or on an end on the opposing plate portion side in the axial direction of the magnet portion. The shield portion contains a magnetic material.

Electric drive

An electric drive includes a motor and a transmission for transferring torque from the motor to a tool. The transmission includes a plurality of planetary rollers which are driven by a rotary shaft of the motor, and an output ring which is connectable to the tool, and which is driven by the planetary rollers. The transmission further includes a roller casing which is secured to a housing of the motor, and which supports parallel planetary shafts upon which the planetary rollers are mounted for rotation relative to the roller casing, and a bearing having an inner race which engages the roller casing, and an outer race which engages the inner periphery of the output ring.

ROLLING BEARING DEVICE FOR ROTARY ELECTRIC MACHINE

A rolling bearing device that can be mounted around a shaft of a rotary electric machine of axis X, and axially above a rotor assembly. The rolling bearing device includes a rolling bearing having an inner race and an outer race that are centred on the axis; a target holder which is fixed to the inner race and extends radially with respect to the axis beyond the outer race, and in a base extended by an axial lip, a target which is secured to the target holder and is able to cooperate with a detection means for tracking the rotation of the race about the axis. The base of the target holder includes at least one axially protruding tab designed to axially deform when the base bears against the rotor assembly once the rolling bearing has been mounted on the shaft.

A stator with a multi-phase stator winding including phase windings each made of several winding segments, the segments including intermediate conductor portions arranged away from each other in a circumferential direction and link portions located at first and second radial end sides and connect the paired intermediate conductor portions into an annular shape. The winding segments are adjacent each other in a circumferential direction partially overlapping in the circumferential direction and include first and second winding segments overlapping each other in the circumferential direction. The link portions of the first winding segments are bent radially inward at at least one of axially opposed ends of the stator winding. The link portions of the second winding segments are bent radially outward at the at least one of the axially opposed ends of the stator winding. These link portions are arranged not overlapping in an axial direction of the stator.

A rotating electric machine includes: a field system including a magnet section having a plurality of magnetic poles whose polarities alternate in a circumferential direction; and an armature arranged to face the field system and including a multi-phase armature coil. Either of the field system and the armature is configured as a rotor. The field system also includes a soft-magnetic core having at least one magnet-receiving hole in which the magnet section is received and held. The armature coil has electrical conductor sections arranged at positions facing the field system and at predetermined intervals in the circumferential direction. In the armature, inter-conductor members are provided between the electrical conductor sections in the circumferential direction. The inter-conductor members in each part of the armature corresponding to one magnetic pole are magnetically saturated by magnetic flux from one magnetic pole of the magnet section when the electrical conductor sections are not energized.

A method for arranging an electric machine on a transmission, having the steps of providing a stator housing, inserting a hollow cylindrical stator into the stator housing such that the stator is rotationally fixed in the stator housing, and aligning the stator housing with the transmission. Additional steps include securing the stator housing on the transmission, inserting a rotor having a rotor hollow shaft into the stator, securing the rotor to a transmission input shaft, placing a bearing shield having a bearing pin on a receiving opening of the stator housing such that the bearing pin engages in a rotor cavity of the rotor hollow shaft and in a pivotally attached bearing device arranged in the rotor cavity such that the rotor is mounted so as to be rotatable about the rotor longitudinal axis.
