The base includes an under-bed portion and an outer portion that may be joined by a transition portion. The under-bed portion is configured to be fitted under a bed when the overbed table is in use. The under-bed portion is supported at its inner end on low friction glides, and has a height that is low enough to pass under raised/retracted under-bed wheels. The outer portion is configured to remain out from beneath the bed and to provide a support structure for a column and a tabletop. The outer portion is raised relative the under-bed portion and is supported upon casters or other rolling elements. The under-bed portion may be generally planar and may include a central portion and a pair of legs.

Telescopic Module

A telescopic module, which may be incorporated in a desk or a chair to elevate or lower a work surface, includes a first tube, a second tube, a holder, and a plurality of rollers. The first tube has a passageway. The second tube is received in the passageway of the first tube for reciprocation. The holder is mounted on the first tube. The rollers are pivoted on the holder to rest against the second tube or the first tube, or both to touch an inner side of the first tube and an outer side of the second tube to be turned when the second tube is moving. The rollers may reduce the friction between the first and the second tubes when the second tube is moving.

Lifting table stand

A lifting table stand includes a pair of telescopic columns, a carrier, an actuation module, and a passive mechanism. Each telescopic column includes multiple tubes adapted to sheathe with each other and move telescopically relative to each other. The carrier includes a beam straddling the telescopic columns and a pair of support members perpendicularly connected to two ends of the beam. The actuation module includes a receiving member detachably installed to the beam and a driver connected to the receiving member. The passive mechanism includes a transmission shaft and a pair of gear sets installed in the tubes. The transmission shaft passes the driver and is connected to each gear set. Since the receiving member is detachably installed to beam, the actuation module may be changed to different types to control the elevation of the lifting table stand.

Systems and methods for controlling an interactive workstation based on biometric input
11185238 · 2021-11-30 · ·

Systems and methods are disclosed for moving a tabletop of a workstation based on biometric input associated with a user, the method being performed by a controller that is configured to send control signals to actuators to move the tabletop. One method includes: accessing a user profile associated with a user device; determining parameters for moving the tabletop, based on the user profile, for eliciting desired biometric inputs from the workstation user at one or more times during the movement of the tabletop; and repeating one or more iterations of: moving the tabletop based on the parameters, by sending control signals to the actuators of the tabletop; receiving, into a data storage device, actual biometric inputs from the workstation user; comparing the received actual biometric inputs with the desired biometric inputs; and if the parameters do not elicit the desired biometric inputs, adjusting the parameters.

Power-driven table stand with combining mechanotronics

A power-driven table stand with combining mechanotronics includes: a horizontal bar structure (10); a pair of supporters (20), connected at two sides of the horizontal bar structure (10); a pair of vertical post structures (30), connected to each of the supporters (20) and having a motor (31); and an electrical device (40), having a controller (41) and a guide wiring (45), wherein the controller (40) is disposed on the horizontal bar structure (10), the guide wiring (45) is stored and hidden in the horizontal bar structure (10) and each of the supporters (20), and electrically connected to the controller (41) and the motor (31). Accordingly, power wires and signal wires can be effectively and properly stored and hidden.

Table assembly with reversible leg assemblies

A leg assembly for a table includes a support that is configured to couple to a table worksurface. A leg member engages the support and is movable with respect to the support such that the leg assembly is configured to support the table worksurface above a floor surface. A first friction reduction member is attached to a first end of the leg member. A second friction reduction member is configured to attach to a second end of the leg member. The first and second ends are configured to alternately engage the support from one another such that the leg member is reversibly received by the support and such that the first friction reduction member abuts the floor surface when the second end of the leg member engages the support, and the second friction reduction member abuts the floor surface when the first end of the leg member engages the support.

Height adjustable desk driven by single motor

A height adjustable desk includes a work surface, a first telescoping leg, a second telescoping leg, a driving device, and a switch device. The first telescoping leg and the second telescoping leg are connected to the work surface, and are driven by the driving device to lift or low the work surface to any desired height. The switch device is mounted on the first telescoping leg to be activated when the work surface is moved to a predetermined position. The switch device will turn the motor off to stop the work surface when the switch device is activated.

TRANSMISSION ROD ASSEMBLY AND A HEIGHT-ADJUSTABLE DESK THEREOF
20230309688 · 2023-10-05 ·

A transmission rod assembly for a height-adjustable desk comprises: a first transmission head having positioning grooves; a second transmission head having positioning blocks; an elastic piece axially limiting abutment of the first and second transmission heads, the positioning blocks positioning respective positioning grooves; a sleeve pipe having an end mounted to the second transmission head, the elastic piece being mounted in the sleeve pipe, and an end of the elastic piece abutting the second transmission head; a first transmission rod having an end protruding into the other end of the sleeve pipe and abutting the other end of the elastic piece, the sleeve pipe limiting the first transmission rod; and a locking assembly mounted on the other end of the sleeve pipe, the locking assembly limiting the sleeve pipe and clamping the first transmission rod. Thus, mounting can be completed by elastic squeeze, bringing simple structure and easy operation.
