Piece of furniture, a method of calibrating an actuator and a method of adjusting a component of a piece of furniture
An electrically adjustable piece of furniture comprises a first and at least one second actuator for adjusting a component of the piece of furniture and a controller for controlling the first and at least one second actuator. The actuators each have a first element and a second element which are displaceable relative to each other, and a sensor attached to the first element and adapted to measure a distance between the first and second elements. The distance measurement is based on a time-of-flight measurement of a wave. The controller is arranged to determine an absolute position of each actuator from the respectively measured distance.
ELECTRIC TABLE STAND FOR SIMPLE ASSEMBLY AND ADJUSTMENT
An electric table stand for simple assembly and adjustment includes a beam structure (10), support bars (20), and upright structures (30). Each of the support bars (20) includes a base (21) and a plurality of arms (211, 212, 213) extended from the base (21), wherein an accommodating space (A) is defined by the base (21) and the arms (211, 212, 213). One arm (213) of each of the support bars (20) supports one end of the beam structure (10), and the beam structure (10) is operatively moved in or out of the accommodating space (A). The upright structures (30) are connected to the support bars (20). Accordingly, it is easy to adjust and position each support bar (20) and each upright structure (30) on the beam structure (10).
Platform with adjustable height
An adjustable platform having an upper platform surface, at least two leg assemblies supporting the upper platform surface, and a drive mechanism that is configured to extend or retract the leg assemblies between a first position, in which each leg assembly is retracted to lower the platform toward ground, and a second position, in which each leg assembly is extended to raise the platform away from the ground. The drive mechanism includes a single motor that is drivingly coupled to each of the at least two leg assemblies, in which the drive mechanism is configured to simultaneously extend or retract both of the at least two leg assemblies between the first position and second position to thereby lower or raise the upper platform surface relative to the ground.
ELECTRIC LIFTING DESK WITH THREE-SECTION LEGS
A three-segment electric lifting desk includes a desktop and supporting legs. The supporting legs are connected to the bottom of the desktop. A main beam is provided at a bottom of the desktop, and two ends of the main beam are respectively connected to one supporting leg. The supporting leg is formed by connecting three tubes of different diameters, and the three tubes are a first tube, a second tube and a third tube, respectively. The three tubes are sequentially nested and connected to each other, and an interconnected cavity is formed inside the tubes. An electric pushing rod is provided in the cavity. The three-segment electric lifting desk has the characteristics of simple structure, stable lifting process, freely space retracting and expanding, stable driving of lifting and lowering, etc.
ELECTRICALLY ADJUSTABLE FURNITURE PIECE COMPRISING A DRIVE MOTOR
In a furniture piece including a furniture support part and an adjustable furniture part which is movable relative to the furniture support part by an electric drive motor, the electric drive motor is operable by a power supply at the power supply net voltage without galvanic separation between the power supply and the electric drive motor. The furniture pieces also include sensors for sensing motions of the furniture parts which motions are analyzed and compared with reference patterns to determine an occupation state of the furniture pieces.
TELESCOPING MODULES FOR USE IN MODULAR UTILITY SYSTEMS
Four types of telescoping modules are disclosed wherein the first type has a pair of opposed female ends, the second type has a pair of opposed female ends, and the third type has a female end and an opposed male end. The fourth type has two opposed male ends between which a positionable threaded rod and retaining components stably extend the length between the male ends of the telescoping module. Alternatively, the fourth type of telescoping module may have a female end and a male end. Each of the male ends of the second, third, and fourth types of telescoping modular components comprises a cylindrical body with one or more linear set(s) of two or more spaced-apart prongs on the circumferential surface of the cylindrical body. Each of the female ends has a cylindrical receptacle with one or more linear channels and/or prong-retaining slots for receiving therein the cylindrical body.
AUTOMATIC HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT SYSTEM
An automatic height adjustment system includes an adjustable desk frame, a first drive assembly operable to control a height of the adjustable desk frame, a transceiver, and a first controller communicatively coupled to the first drive assembly and to the transceiver. The first controller is configured to receive, via the transceiver, a first communication based on the detection of a position of a user from a computing device and to transmit, via the transceiver, a second communication to the first drive assembly to control the height of the adjustable desk frame.
Height-adjustable multifunctional table
A height-adjustable multifunctional table includes a base, at least two independent and height-adjustable table legs, a retaining frame, a tabletop, a power adapter, a controller, and a hand controller. Through the wireless connection between the hand controller and the controller, the controller is used to control a driving mechanism, and the driving mechanism drives a movable inner tube to move up and down so as to adjust the height of a tabletop. The user only needs to control the hand controller to adjust the height of the tabletop. The height adjustment is easy and more convenient and saves time and labour.
Height-adjustable desk
A height-adjustable desk is disclosed. Exemplary implementations may include a work surface, a left-side support structure, a right-side support structure, a core body, and a working body that provides the work surface. The core body may include lifting mechanisms such that the work surface of the desk may be positioned for a person in a standing and/or sitting position. The working body may include a control interface configured to be manually engaged by the user, to control lifting and/or lowering of the work surface of the desk.
APPARATUS, METHODS, AND COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIUM FOR CONTROLLING POSITIONING OF A DESK
Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable medium are disclosed for controlling positioning of a desk. An exemplary apparatus includes a tabletop, expandable legs, motors, position sensors, a processor, and a memory configured to store instructions. The motors alter a length of one of the expandable legs. The position sensors identify current position of each of the plurality of expandable legs. The instructions cause the processor to receive a sensor signal, a communication signal, or a command signal, receive the identified current position of one or more of the expandable legs, determine a projected length value for the one or more expandable legs responsive to the received sensor signal, the communication signal, or the command signal, and command one or more of the plurality of motors based on the projected length value for the one or more expandable legs and the identified current position of the one or more expandable legs.
