Integrated Commode Reclining Chair Device And Method Of Use
An integrated commode reclining chair device for provision of a comfortable recliner commode combination for an incontinent or mobility challenged user includes a recliner, which is padded and which comprises a seat for seating a user. The seat comprises a housing, which defines an interior space that is substantially cuboid. A front of the housing is open and an aperture is positioned in a top of the housing. A tray is selectively insertable into the front of the housing so that the tray substantially occupies the interior space. Feces and urine that is expelled by the user through the aperture is collected in the tray.
Chair with a Lift Mechanism
A chair with a lift mechanism is a device that aids the user to safely get up from the chair without using motorized means to elevate the user's body. The device includes a seat platform and a base assembly. The seat platform is designed to accommodate the user's lower body when sitting on the device. The seat platform also moves with the user's body movements corresponding to the movements performed when getting up or sitting down on the device. The seat platform also provides the momentum necessary to help the user get up from the device using less effort. The base assembly provides support to the seat platform when the user is sitting on the device. The base assembly also enables the conversion of potential energy to kinetic energy using several components that aid the user in getting up from the device safely and comfortably.
THREE MOTOR RECLINER MECHANISM WITH INDEPENDENT SEAT, BACK AND OTTOMAN
A recliner mechanism is provided with independently operable motors. Each motor may effect an independent movement. For example, three motors may be provided: a seat pitch motor causing a rotation of the seat to change the seat pitch in relation to the support surface on which the recliner sits; an ottoman motor to extend and retract an ottoman; and a back motor causing a rotation of the back in relation to the seat. And, due to an improved positioning of the pivot point for the seat in relation to the pivot point of the ottoman motor; and positioning of the pivot point of the seat in relation to the pivot point of the back rotation motor, the independent operation of each of the motors is achieved without the need for any special, coordinated programming of the motors.
Chair and supports
A chair has a supporting frame 1, a seat portion 101, a back portion 201 that has an upper end, a lower end, and is pivotally mounted relative to the supporting frame at a position above its lower end, and a recline mechanism 601. The recline mechanism 601 lifts the seat portion 101 upon a reclining action of the back portion 201, and has an operative connection 603, 611 between the seat portion and the supporting frame and a drag link 602 pivotally connected to the seat portion 101 and pivotally connected to the back portion 201 at a position below the pivotal mounting of the back portion relative to the supporting frame. As the back portion 201 of the chair is reclined, the lower end of the back portion 201 moves forward and the drag link 602 pulls the seat portion 101 upward relative to the supporting frame 1.
SEAT PLACEABLE IN PUBLIC ROOMS
Convertible seat which can be located in public places which seat comprises a seat part (1) and a back rest (3) in which case the back rest (3) can be turned in relation to the seat part (1), mechanism (9) in order to convert the seat essentially into a horizontal plane to become a resting surface, equipment in order to secure the items of the user, equipment in order to collect the use charge and equipment in order to cover the seat which has been converted to become at least a resting surface to become at least a partly closed resting space in which case the equipment in order to cover the resting space comprises a covering device (16) with a standard width which can be moved from the back part of the seat forward which covering device comprises control elements (7) which are installed at the both sides of the seat to such height that a needed resting space is formed underneath the covering device (16). The seat comprises an control unit (27) which is adjusted to recognize the payment of the use charge and which is adjusted to allow the moving of the seat into a resting space on the grounds of that in which resting space the space (19) for keeping the items of the user is protected and the mentioned resting space can be closed with the covering device (16) and that the control unit (27) is adjusted move the covering device (16) away from the position which closes the resting space with the help of a regulating unit when the paid utilization time has finished.
Seating/reclining furniture
A seating/reclining furniture comprising a seat part, a backrest part, and a cantilever support structure. A foot support device is provided which comprises a support frame and a first and a second foot support portion, and the first foot support portion is pivotally mounted on the support frame and can be adjusted between a storage position and a working position. The second foot support portion can be adjusted linearly relative to the first foot support portion between a retracted position and an extended position. The foot support device comprises a working device which causes the first foot support portion to be pivoted relative to the support frame by means of a first fitting and the second foot support portion to be moved relative to the first foot support portion by means of a second fitting independently of a change of the relative position of the backrest and the seat part.
SEAT ARRANGEMENT
A seat includes a base frame, seat frame, and footrest, the seat frame retained on a sliding member and pivotable about a first axis. The sliding member is displaceably guided between first and second positions in a guiding profile. The footrest is articulated to the seat frame by a rod mechanism to be adjusted between a folded-in and folded-out position. A drive for displacing the sliding member and adjusting the footrest is provided between the base frame and rod mechanism. A dual-arm lever arm having a first end, second end, and central region is rotatably supported on the sliding member in the central region and is connected with the first end to the rod mechanism and the second end to the seat frame. Movement of the footrest between the folded-in and folded-out position causes a pivot movement of the seat frame about the first axis between basic and inclined positions.
GLIDER RECLINE LINKAGE WITH DOUBLE BLOCKER CAMS
A blocker linkage for use in selectively locking a glider-recliner is provided. The glider-recliner is operable to move between closed, TV and full-recline positions. The blocker linkage includes a glide bracket having front and rear glide links pivotably coupled thereto. The rear glide link has a blocker pin coupled to it that extends outwardly. A carrier link is pivotably coupled to the bottoms of the front and rear glide links. A rear blocker cam is pivotably coupled to the carrier link. Similarly, a front blocker cam is also pivotably coupled to the carrier link. The rear blocker cam and the front blocker cam are operably coupled to cooperatively engage the blocker pin on the rear glide link when the glider-recliner is moved from the closed position to the TV and full-recline positions, preventing movement of the rear glide link (and thus the gliding movement supported by the carrier link).
APPARATUS FOR SUPPORT DURING TATTOOING
An apparatus that supports a person in a variety of positions so that a tattoo artist can comfortably apply a tattoo to the skin of the supported person is herein disclosed. The apparatus can be articulated to cause a person's legs and arms to be optimally positioned and supported to receive a tattoo.
Electromotively adjustable support apparatus, such as a support device adjustable by an electric motor
Electromotively adjustable support apparatus for supporting padding of seating and/or reclining furniture, in particular a mattress of a bed, has at least two support parts adjustable relative to one another. The adjustable support apparatus may be adjusted by an electric motor. An adjustment element is associated with one support part for adjusting the support part. Adjustment element is in drive connection with an electric motor of a drive unit. The adjustment element is a pivot lever which is pivotable under the traction effect of a pull cable of a Bowden cable, and is configured and connected with the pull cable in such a way that the lever arm which is operative for adjusting the support part lengthens during an adjustment from an unadjusted starting position into a maximally adjusted end position of the adjustment movement.
