The portable folding seat with cushion attachments disclosed herein may comprise a planar horizontal surface, two to four collapsible leg combinations, a series of locking mechanisms for support, and a series of ratcheting mechanisms for width adjustment. The combination is designed to fold into a compact form for carrying by an otherwise-encumbered user, such as a parent or guardian pushing a stroller or carrying a baby bag, and may unfold into a stand-alone chair or a stroller attachment. The combination made be made from extruded aluminum and ABS plastic, and may comprise stainless steel components for increased strength and light weight. A removable cushioned seat may be made available as part of the combination to improve user comfort, and the combination may further include a tote bag for ease of storage.

A portable adjustable chair is disclosed comprising a seating area for receiving a person having a front portion and a back portion. A front support connected to the front portion of the seating area for supporting the front portion of the seating area is also provided and a back support connected to the back portion of the seating area for supporting the back portion of the seating area. The chair also has a fulcrum member allowing movement of the back support and removing support for the back portion of the seating area provided by the back support while allowing the front support to support the front portion of the seating area and a support member connected to the seating area to support the back portion of the seating area when the back support is not supporting the back portion of the seating area.

A collapsible and portable chair comprises an articulated chair frame that includes a plurality of pivotally interconnected elongated frame members, as well as a plurality of pivots and joints that define mutually parallel axes about which the chair can be folded from a set-up configuration to a flattened and collapsed configuration. The chair frame includes a front leg assembly, a rear leg assembly, a backrest frame assembly and two independent laterally spaced seat frame members. A fabric panel extends between members of the chair frame to define a seating panel and a backrest panel for receiving a seated user in the set-up condition of the chair. Straps can be provided to facilitate transport of the chair in its folded condition, notable as backpack straps that free up the user's hands so that other objects can be carried along with the folded chair.

A foldable chair includes a seat member having a front side for supporting a user and a back side, a backrest member having a front surface for supporting the user and a back surface, and a plurality of legs. Each of the legs is pivotably connected to the back side of the seat member and each leg is adapted to pivot from a folded configuration where each leg is generally parallel to the back side of the seat member to an unfolded configuration where each leg is generally transverse to the back side of the seat member. The backrest member is configured to hingedly engage the seat member and to selectively enclose at least the back side of the seat member to form a portable case.

An embodiment is a lightweight, packable seat that includes a seat platform, two shafts for support, straps with respective buckles, or similar, that secure the seat to a vertical object, such as a tree. The seat may be made of a lightweight flexible material that is held in a stiff orientation that extends outward from the tree through coupling to the upper strap at the proximal end of the seat and the shafts at a distal end of the seat, where the shafts project downward toward a proximal location at the tree at the lower strap. Use of the lower strap means that the shafts do not contact a ground surface, thereby providing stability. The shafts may be made of composites or aluminum, for example, such that the entire weight of the seat may weigh just a few ounces while exhibiting strengths and stability.

A folding chair is disclosed that includes a backrest portion, a seat portion, two armrests, and two pairs of a front leg and a back leg each, the front leg and the back leg of each pair being pivotably connected at top ends by a hinge, a bottom end of the backrest portion being pivotably connected to a back end of the seat portion by at least one hinge, the back legs of both pairs each comprising a rail running to a lower portion of the back legs, wherein the backrest portion and the seat portion are on both sides slidably connected to the rails at the position of the at least one hinge, a back end of the armrests being pivotably connected to the backrest portion, and an underside of the armrests being attached to the respective top end of the pairs of legs, and the seat portion being pivotably connected to the front legs on each side.

A folding chair includes a chair frame that is foldable about a plurality of laterally extending axes between a set up condition and a folded condition, and includes a table that is slidably attached to the chair frame for lateral motion between a deployed position outside a spatial envelope of the chair frame and a stowed position within the spatial envelope of the chair frame, and that is pivotally attached to the chair frame such that when the chair frame is in its set up condition the table is disposed below a seat of the chair frame, and when the chair frame is in its folded condition the table is disposed substantially coplanar with the seat of the chair frame.

A folding chair includes a chair frame that is foldable about a plurality of laterally extending axes between a set up condition and a folded condition, and includes a table that is slidably attached to the chair frame for lateral motion between a deployed position outside a spatial envelope of the chair frame and a stowed position within the spatial envelope of the chair frame, and that is pivotally attached to the chair frame such that when the chair frame is in its set up condition the table is disposed below a seat of the chair frame, and when the chair frame is in its folded condition the table is disposed substantially coplanar with the seat of the chair frame.

The present invention relates to a post-operative chair for individuals who have undergone hip or buttocks surgery. The chair is foldable and includes a cut-out opening in the seat for accommodating the buttocks of a user sitting in the chair. The cut-out opening is designed as per the shape of the buttocks of a human and reduces strain and pressure on the buttocks. The chair includes a plurality of supporting members for the spine, head, and feet to enhance comfort while relaxing. A storage tray for providing storage space and a charging port is included in the chair. The chair has a reclining backrest with an adjustable footrest for providing comfort after surgery. The chair relieves pressure on the spine, improves blood circulation, and reduces muscle tension.
