The invention is a novel model involving a folding chair with back rest, including small U-shaped bars, large U-shaped bars, and back rest U-shaped bars. The small U-shaped bars and large U-shaped bars' two ends have short vertical bars and long vertical bars cross-hinged to form supports. The backrest U-shaped bars' two backrest vertical bars are hinged on the large U-shaped bars' two long vertical bars top outside face. This forms a back rest weight support, and the two backrest vertical bars will tighten the back rest fabric. In this: the small U-shaped bars' two corners become a narrowing structure, shrinking the length of the short horizontal bar, and the soft stool surface forms a trapezoid shape. This uses a new small U-shaped bar two corner narrowing structure, which creates definite space in the corners to avoid the short horizontal bar top from blocking the legs.

According to some embodiments, a folding chair comprises a first frame element, a second frame element, wherein the first frame element moves from a first position remote from the second frame element to a second position toward, adjacent to or against the second frame element, and a cradle comprising a guide member that guides the first frame element into the cradle.

A folding chair includes a cloth cover and a support frame. The support frame includes a horizontally arranged connecting frame and a support assembly mounted on the connecting frame. The support assembly includes two mounting bases arranged at both ends of the connecting frame in an inserted manner, two support rods rotatably mounted on the mounting bases and used for supporting the cloth cover, and two support legs rotatably mounted on the mounting bases. The stabilizing mechanism restrains the front and rear legs from moving relative to each other when the foldable chair is unfolded or in use, and prevents an undesired or inadvertent folding of the foldable chair. The stabilizing mechanism includes a positioner and a fastening device. The positioner is connected to the front and rear legs, and has a length adjustable to facilitate folding and unfolding of the foldable chair. The fastening device is disposed at the positioner, and configured to prevent the positioner from inadvertently adjusting its length when the foldable chair is unfolded.

A foldable chair includes front and rear legs, a seat frame, and a stabilizing mechanism. The front and rear legs are crossingly and pivotally connected to each other. The seat frame is supported by the front and rear legs and tilted when the foldable chair is unfolded. The stabilizing mechanism restrains the front and rear legs from moving relative to each other when the foldable chair is unfolded or in use, and prevents an undesired or inadvertent folding of the foldable chair. The stabilizing mechanism includes a positioner and a fastening device. A reinforcing arrangement for reinforcing a joint portion between two support units of a foldable furniture object, comprising a first mounting unit which comprises a first mounting body and a first guiding member outwardly protruded from the first mounting body mounting on the first support unit; a second mounting unit which comprises a second mounting body and a second guiding member or a second guiding groove complimentary to and moveably engaging with the first mounting unit to define a maximum extending angle of movement, thereby the first and second support unit are guided to lock into position at an unfolded position at the maximum extending angle and to unlock at a folded position; and a connecting unit pivotally connecting the first support unit and the second support unit between which the two mounting units are positioned, thereby the joint portion is reinforced.

The invention is to a flat folding chair, including a seating frame and cushion fixed on a seating frame, and on front and rear supporting bars which support the two sides of the seating frame. A slide sleeve is installed on the rear supporting bar with the front supporting bar sliding through the slide sleeve to form the movable joint between the supporting bars. A stopper is installed on the front supporting bar. The slide sleeve rests upon the stopper when the folding chair is unfolded to the correct position. There is also a fixation lock installed between the stopper and the slide sleeve to automatically lock the chair when unfolded to the correct position. A clicking sound of the handle snapping into the lock hole serves as a signal to the user that the chair has been opened to the correct position.
