Joint fountain code and network coding for multiple-source-multiple-destination wireless communication
Network protocols and methods of transmitting data over wireless networks, including wireless mesh networks, are provided. A method of data transmission in wireless networks can include sending packets from one or more terminal nodes to one or more relay nodes, recoding the packets in the one or more relay nodes, and transmitting the recoded packets from the one or more relay nodes to the one or more terminal nodes. The relay nodes can linearly recombine the received packets before retransmission. The terminal nodes can utilize the linearly recombined terminal nodes to recover packets by solving a set of linear equations using their original packets.
PHASE NOISE REMOVAL IN A NETWORK OF RADIO FREQUENCY (RF) REPEATERS
A wireless communication system includes a first communication device and a second communication device. The first communication device comprises a first digital signal processor (DSP) that obtains a plurality of radio frequency (RF) signals corresponding to different communication protocols from a plurality of communication systems. The first DSP upconverts a frequency of each of the plurality of RF signals to a different frequency. The first DSP maps and aligns the plurality of RF signals corresponding to the different communication protocols in the mmWave RF signal based on a number of source antennas from which the plurality of RF signals are obtained. Furthermore, the first DSP multiplexes the plurality of RF signals corresponding to different communication protocols into a mmWave RF signal of a specified frequency. The first DSP further transmits the mmWave RF signal of the specified frequency along with a defined pilot tone to the second communication device.
WIRELESS COMMUNICATION DEVICE
In accordance with an embodiment, a wireless communication device constituting a wireless mesh network that transmits information through multi-hop communication comprises a communication section configured to transmit a message addressed to a wireless communication device different from its own wireless communication device through broadcast communication on a first frequency channel; and a control section configured to change a communication channel of the communication section from the first frequency channel to a second frequency channel for communication of a response signal responding to the message after the message is transmitted by the communication section.
RELAY DEVICE, DETECTION METHOD, AND DETECTION PROGRAM
A relay device performs relay processing of relaying data between a plurality of function units mounted on a vehicle and includes a counting unit that counts each of the numbers of relayed packets that are the numbers of packets relayed to respective target function units being the plurality of function units of a same type in the relay processing and a detection unit that monitors a count value of the numbers counted by the counting unit and detects unauthorized communication with the target function units based on a maximum value and a minimum value of the numbers of relayed packets counted by the counting unit.
RELAYING VEHICULAR COMMUNICATIONS USING NETWORK CODING
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may identify two or more peer-to-peer (P2P) communications to be combined based at least in part on a respective location of each of two or more originating UEs from which the two or more P2P communications are received; combine the two or more P2P communications, using network coding, to form a combined P2P communication; and transmit the combined P2P communication. Communication apparatus
According to one embodiment, a communication apparatus is provided. The communication apparatus receives first content including first additional information from a first terminal, generates second additional information, adds the second additional information to second content, and transmits the second content to a second terminal. The second additional information includes an authentication code unique to blocks in the second content and the communication apparatus and a signature unique to the authentication code. The communication apparatus generates receipt information and transmits the receipt information to an external apparatus when a transmission source of the first content is verified to be the first terminal based on the first additional information.
Wireless mesh data network with increased transmission capacity
A method for transmitting node data in a wireless meshed network from a plurality of wireless nodes to at least one consolidating node includes assigning each of the plurality of wireless nodes to one of a plurality of node pools and causing each of the plurality of wireless nodes to transmit node data to one or more other wireless nodes and/or the at least one consolidating node during the assigned time slots. Each wireless node transmits its node data during timeslots which are adjacent to timeslots during which a wireless node from another node pool transmits its node data. The node data for each wireless node includes data originating at the wireless node and node data received from another wireless node of the same node pool which are linearly aggregated using network coding.

Apparatus, methods, and computer program products for selecting an encoder for network coding are provided. An example method may include transmitting a report request for reporting one or more conditions to one or more network coding devices, the one or more conditions being associated with the one or more network coding devices. The example method may further include receiving a condition report reporting the one or more conditions from the one or more network coding devices based on the report request. The example method may further include transmitting a selection indication to a selected network coding device of the one or more network coding devices, the selection indication indicating a selection of the selected network coding device as an encoder for encoding a transport block (TB).
RADIO LINK CONTROL LAYER BASED RELAYING FOR INTEGRATED ACCESS AND BACKHAUL TRANSMISSIONS IN WIRELESS NETWORKS
Employment of a radio link control (RLC) protocol sublayer, wherein a data packet can be encapsulated by a relay distributed unit according to the protocol based on routing information provided by a routing function component, resulting in an encapsulated data unit.
