09901179 · 2018-02-27 · ·

A piece of seating furniture having at least one base body, at least one adjustable functional part, at least one pivot fitting for adjusting the functional part relative to the base body and a separate, lift setting mechanism for locking the functional part in relation to the base body. The lift setting mechanism has a guide and a slender bar which can be moved in relation to the guide. The lift setting mechanism can be moved from a set position, blocking the adjustment of the functional part, to a reset position, unblocking the adjustment of the functional part. The pivoted lever is pivotably connected to the base body separately via two adjusting levers, the two adjusting levers are jointly connected to the base body via a control lever and one adjusting lever is pivotably connected to the base body via a guide lever.

SEAT ARRANGEMENT
20180035803 · 2018-02-08 ·

A seat includes a base frame, seat frame, and footrest, the seat frame retained on a sliding member and pivotable about a first axis. The sliding member is displaceably guided between first and second positions in a guiding profile. The footrest is articulated to the seat frame by a rod mechanism to be adjusted between a folded-in and folded-out position. A drive for displacing the sliding member and adjusting the footrest is provided between the base frame and rod mechanism. A dual-arm lever arm having a first end, second end, and central region is rotatably supported on the sliding member in the central region and is connected with the first end to the rod mechanism and the second end to the seat frame. Movement of the footrest between the folded-in and folded-out position causes a pivot movement of the seat frame about the first axis between basic and inclined positions.

An electromotive furniture drive includes a drive unit and a power take-off unit which can be moved relative to the drive unit. At least one connecting element is arranged on each of the drive unit and the power take-off unit to respectively connect the drive unit and the power take-off unit to a furniture fitting. Each of the connecting elements provides at least two force application points in spaced apart relation for the connection to the furniture fitting in a direction transverse to the relative movement between the drive unit and the power take-off unit. The force application points are spaced apart from one another at least by a distance which is greater than approximately 50% of a displacement movement of the furniture drive.

Seating furniture with pivotable functional part

Seating furniture including a base body and a functional part which can pivot with respect to the base body, at least one pivot fitting for adjusting the functional part relative to the base body, and a separate lift setting mechanism. The functional part is connected to the base body by an adjusting lever. The pivot lever and the adjusting lever can be pivoted about a pivot axis with respect to one another. The adjusting lever can be moved with respect to the base body out of a lower position into an upper position and back. The steering lever can pivot with respect to the pivot lever and with respect to the control lever. The control lever can pivot with respect to the base body and/or to the adjusting lever and the control lever is connected to the adjusting lever.

MODULAR FURNITURE AND RECLINING ASSEMBLIES WITH DOCKING FEATURES

Disclosed are furniture systems including at least one reclining assembly. The reclining assembly is configured to seamlessly integrate and couple to a modular furniture assembly, having a footprint that substantially fits within the geometric specifications of the footprint of the modular furniture assembly. The reclining assembly has a general appearance that is substantially similar to the modular furniture assembly when the reclining assembly is in the un-reclined position. The reclining assembly includes a reclining mechanism that permits transitioning the reclining assembly between a deep mode and a wide mode. The reclining assembly includes an adjustable frame and the reclining mechanism, wherein the reclining mechanism includes a fixed lower carriage portion and an upper carriage portion. An actuator drives the upper carriage portion relative to the lower carriage portion.

DECK CHAIR WITH SUPPORT FOOT AND LINKED FOLDING AND UNFOLDING MECHANISM

The present invention discloses a deck chair with a support foot and a linked folding and unfolding mechanism, including a back rest portion, a chair seat portion, a footstool portion, and a linked folding and unfolding mechanism, wherein the support foot is disposed in back of the back rest portion; the linked folding and unfolding mechanism includes a folding and unfolding rod and a linkage rod; one end of the folding and unfolding rod is cooperatively hinged to the support foot; an upper portion of the support foot is cooperatively hinged to the back rest portion; when the back rest portion changes from a vertical state to a lie-low state, the support foot is supported by the folding and unfolding rod, and an angle between the support foot and the back rest portion gradually increases.

MULTIFUNCTIONAL IRON FRAME AND SEAT
20250017382 · 2025-01-16 ·

The present application discloses a multifunctional iron frame and seat, including a driving mechanism, a leg support mechanism, and a linkage mechanism. The leg support mechanism includes a leg support skeleton and a support plate. The linkage mechanism is connected between the driving mechanism and the leg support skeleton. When the multifunctional iron frame is rotated from a sitting state to a first position, the leg support skeleton rotates relative to the seat frame, and a rotation radius of the support plate at the first position is not greater than in the sitting state. When the multifunctional iron frame is rotated from the first position to a lying state, the leg support skeleton rotates relative to the seat frame and the support plate slides relative to the leg support skeleton. The rotation radius of the support plate in the first position is smaller than that in the lying state.

CHAIR AND SUPPORTS

A chair has a supporting frame 1, a seat portion 101, a back portion 201 that has an upper end, a lower end, and is pivotally mounted relative to the supporting frame at a position above its lower end, and a recline mechanism 601. The recline mechanism 601 lifts the seat portion 101 upon a reclining action of the back portion 201, and has an operative connection 603, 611 between the seat portion and the supporting frame and a drag link 602 pivotally connected to the seat portion 101 and pivotally connected to the back portion 201 at a position below the pivotal mounting of the back portion relative to the supporting frame. As the back portion 201 of the chair is reclined, the lower end of the back portion 201 moves forward and the drag link 602 pulls the seat portion 101 upward relative to the supporting frame 1.

Reduced profile legrest for a seat

A reduced profile legrest system has a legrest frame having at least two opposing edges, a width, and a centerline being a point that is half of the width. Also, at least two linkage mechanisms can each deploy and retract the legrest frame. Each linkage mechanism can have a first end and a second end. The second ends of the linkage mechanisms are attached to the legrest frame, and are offset from at least one of the two opposing edges toward the centerline. The offset can be a distance between the second ends and is approximately 15% to approximately 50% of the width. The offset can also be a distance between the second end and the centerline and is greater than 0.0 and less than or equal to 0.70 of the first distance.
