In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) receives, from a network entity, beam shape assistance information for one or more downlink transmit beams of a base station, the beam shape assistance information representing a beam shape of each of the one or more downlink transmit beams, the beam shape of each of the one or more downlink transmit beams having a quantization, and determines an angle between the UE and the base station based at least on the beam shape assistance information and signal strength measurements of positioning reference signal resources transmitted on the one or more downlink transmit beams.

CELL ACTIVATION PROCEDURES

Aspects relate to activation of a cell (e.g., an SCell) based on measurements made by a user equipment (UE) when the cell is not activated with respect to (e.g., as a secondary cell for) the UE (e.g., the cell is deemed by the network as an unknown cell for that UE). In this case, when the network requests the UE to conduct measurements with respect to that cell (e.g., in conjunction with activation of the cell), the UE may report information based on the measurements the UE conducted when the cell was not activated with respect to that UE.

METHODS FOR TARGETED WAKE-UP AND 802.11 FRAME ENHANCEMENTS FOR ENERGY HARVESTING

Methods and apparatus for targeted wake-up and frame enhancement for energy harvesting are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method performed by a station (STA) may compromise: receiving, during an energy detection state, a zero energy (ZE) frame from an access point (AP) that indicates a presence of an energy harvesting (EH) window; harvesting energy for a determined time duration during the EH window; and receiving, during an information decoding state, a data portion of the ZE frame based on a current stored energy of the STA being above a first threshold and a signal strength of the received ZE frame being above a second threshold.

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a solution for sidelink communications. In a method for communications, a first terminal device determines from a resource pool configured for the first terminal device, first resources in a time window before a first slot based on a resource selection scheme of the first terminal device. The first terminal device determines a first number of occupied resources in the first resources. The first terminal device determines a congestion level indicator of a sidelink channel for the first slot based at least in part on the first number and a number of the first resources. The sidelink channel is associated with the first terminal device. With the proposed mechanism, the sidelink congestion level indicator, such as, a channel busy ratio (CBR) is determined with consideration of the resource selection scheme and the reception capability of the terminal device. As such, the accuracy of CBR measurement can be improved, which is beneficial to sidelink congestion control and a reduction of the power consumption at the terminal device.
