Pressure-based bed microclimate control
A bed system includes microclimate control capabilities for providing quality sleep experience. The bed system can include a microclimate control subsystem configured to supply conditioned air (e.g., heated or cooled air) to a mattress, or draw ambient air from the mattress, to achieve a desired temperature at the top of the mattress. Utilizing supply of conditioned air to provide air at desired temperature to the mattress system, or utilizing air suction to drain heat away from the mattress system, can provide precise microclimate control at the mattress, thereby permitting conformable sleep.
Hotel bed frame
A bed frame system for use particularly in hotels that includes side rails and cross rails that include extruded plastic panels that extend downwardly to the floor to block the space underneath the bed frame. The cross rails are connected to the side rails by corner members with a system that allows the entire bed frame to be assembled without the use of tools. In one embodiment, the bed frame is a platform style bed frame that is constructed of an upper bed frame section and a lower bed frame section that are interlocked together to raise the height of the bed frame and eliminate the foundation. The bed frame may have a deck made up of a plurality of individual slats that are supported by the side rails to support the mattress.
BEDSTEAD
A bedstead includes a headboard, a footboard and two sideboards to form a bed frame. The two sideboards are connected with bed legs. A plurality of bed beams are mounted between the two sideboards. Each sideboard includes two connected side boards. The bed legs are connected to four corners of the bed frame. Aback of the headboard is formed with an accommodating cavity. After being disassembled, the side boards, the footboard, the bed beams and the bed legs are placed into the accommodating cavity. The bedstead can be assembled easily. It is more convenient to pack and transport the bedstead after being disassembled, thereby saving the transportation cost.
BED FOUNDATION FOR SUPPORTING A MATTRESS
A bed foundation for supporting a mattress having framework pieces and a platform base. The framework pieces may include a footboard panel, a headboard panel, and a pair of side bed rails. The platform base may include a pocketed tarp formed of a rectangular shaped sheet material having a multiplicity of pockets formed on the bottom side. A multiplicity of slats conformingly sized for the multiplicity of pockets, each slat having a length longer than a side margin to side margin width of the pocketed tarp, may be inserted into the multiplicity of pockets. The platform base may further include adjustable and easy to assemble central support structure.
Connectors for collapsible bed frame and collapsible bed frame having same
A collapsible bed frame includes a plurality of lateral bar units, a plurality of first longitudinal bar units, and a plurality of second longitudinal bar units. The plurality of lateral bar units includes first and second outer lateral bar units and at least one inner lateral bar unit. A collapsible bed frame also includes a plurality of first connectors, each having a body and a supporting piece. The body is fixedly connected with an end of the first or second outer lateral bar unit, and the supporting piece is rotatably connected with an adjacent first or second longitudinal bar unit. The collapsible bed frame can contract and expand while the lateral and longitudinal bar units are connected with each other.
Systems and Methods for Utilizing Gravity to Determine Subject-Specific Information
A system for measuring data specific to a subject using gravity comprises a substrate on which a subject lies, the substrate having multiple legs extending from the substrate to a floor to support the substrate, and load sensor assemblies. Each load sensor assembly is associated with a respective leg and comprises a cap configured to receive a load from the substrate, a base configured to provide contact with the floor, the base and cap configured to fit together to maintain alignment of the cap to the base while allowing vertical movement of the cap, a load cell between the base and the cap, one of the base and cap configured to translate the load to the load cell and a printed circuit board that processes and outputs data from the load cell, wherein a combination of all load sensor assemblies receive an entire load to which the substrate is subjected.
Modular Furniture Support Systems
Furniture spring systems are configured to provide support for different sized modular seating systems and/or modular bed systems. Slats extend between opposing frame or rail members to provide support to the seating or bed system. The slats have a catch disposed at a first or second end. In the seating and/or bed frame systems, the catch engages a retention member to retain the slat to the frame or rail. Adjustable bed frame systems employing such slats comprise modular bed frames and adjustable head boards and foot boards. Bed frames employing the slats and headboards/footboards thereof adjust in length or width in a variety of different manners. Adjustable bed frames adjust through the use of telescoping members, filler blocks and/or elongate end blocks that have different sizes from the standard uniform elongate support blocks employed in a bed frame.
Method for Assembling a Mattress Foundation
A method for assembling a mattress foundation is used with a disassembled mattress foundation that can fit within a package that qualifies for discount shipping. A mattress foundation provides support for a mattress. The mattress foundation can be disassembled to fit within a flat-rate shipping package. The mattress foundation includes reinforcements that add strength without adding weight above the flat-rate shipping requirements. A mounting plate allows the mattress foundation to be attached to a variety of headboards and footboards, even when the headboards and footboards use a different configuration of bolts to attach to the bedframe.
Reinforced bed frame
The present disclosure discloses a reinforced bed frame. The reinforced bed frame comprises a plurality of bed poles, two cross poles, at least one connecting member, and a plurality of movable buckles. Each of the at least one connecting member comprises a body and at least two fixing buckles connected to the body. Each of the plurality of movable buckles is configured to cover an opening of a corresponding one of the at least two fixing buckles and cooperate with the corresponding one of the at least two fixing buckles to surround a corresponding one of the plurality of bed poles.
Coupler and collapsible bed frame having same
A collapsible bed frame includes a first lateral bar unit, a second lateral bar unit, and a longitudinal supporting bar unit. The first and second lateral bar units are disposed substantially parallel to each other. The first lateral bar unit includes a first coupler to removably couple with a first end of the longitudinal supporting bar unit. The second lateral bar unit includes a second coupler to removably couple with a second end of the longitudinal supporting bar unit. The collapsible bed frame also includes first and second longitudinal bar units. The first longitudinal bar unit is rotatably connected with the first ends of the first and second lateral bar units. The second longitudinal bar unit is rotatably connected with the second ends of the first and second lateral bar units.
