Technology for placing a user on-hold can include sending a push notification to a user device after the call has been placed on-hold. A link in the push notification can request authentication credentials from the user. When the authentication credentials have been received and verified, a chat window can be launched via an application on the user device. The intent of the call can be determined based at least in part by information received via the chat window. The authentication information and the intent of the call can be transferred to a representative answering the call.

A method for providing a subscription service in a terminal installed with an application by interworking with an application server is provided. The method comprises displaying a board provided by the application server on an interface screen, and changing an action button in which a function set on the board is implemented according to a passage of time or a selection of a user and displaying the action button. The board comprises a board title, a plurality of contents, and the action button, and is exposed along with a name of a channel having published the board.

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide methods and apparatus for group content delivery. A method in a communication network which comprises the content provider node and a broadcast-multicast service node, wherein the content provider node needs to deliver a message to a group of user equipments via the broadcast multicast service node. The method comprises obtaining one or more group identifiers. The method further comprises sending the one or more group identifiers to the broadcast-multicast service node.

A system and a method are disclosed for generating recipient notification recommendations using a machine-learned model for a sending entity sending a set of documents to an acting entity and a subset of the set of documents to a receiving entity. The receiving user is subscribed to a notification service of a document management system to receive push notifications regarding statuses of inbound documents. The notifications for the receiving entity are generated based on recipient notification definition provided by the sending entity. The document management system trains a machine-learned model to generate recipient notification recommendations for the sending entity selecting event criteria that indicate when to generate the notifications and types of data to include in the notifications. The machine-learned model is trained based on data associated with historical notification definitions provided by historical sending entities.

A method for providing a subscription service in a terminal installed with an instant messaging application by interworking with an application server is provided. The method comprises displaying recommendation boards recommended by the application server or boards published in a subscription channel on an interface screen, receiving a request for subscribing to a specific channel that has published the recommendation board, from a user, and transmitting information on a channel for which a subscription is requested to the application server and requesting registering as a subscription channel. Each board displayed on the interface screen is a content distribution unit that is composed of a board title and a plurality of contents, and is exposed along with a name of a channel having published a corresponding board. The channel publishing each board is an account that has subscribed to a service providing the instant messaging application.

Systems and methods are provided for receiving input increasing a default predetermined window of time that a new media collection is accessible, sending a request to a server computer for activation of the new media collection including the input, and receiving confirmation that the new media collection was activated for the increased predetermined window of time and a geographic boundary size for where media content originates. The systems and methods further provide for causing a plurality of content messages comprising media content originating in the geographical boundary size to be included in the new media collection and displayed in response to a request from a computing device to view the new media collection based on determining the request occurs within the increased predetermined window of time that the new media collection is accessible.

The subject matter disclosed herein provides methods for distributing notifications to a user. The method can include receiving data encapsulating notifications from a device connected to a network that provide information relating to the device's status. The device can provide a health related treatment. The method can associate each notification with one or more notification categories relating to a function performed by the device or a location of the device. A table of users having one or more subscriptions to these notification categories can be accessed. The subscriptions can be automatically assigned to users based on the users' role. A user can be identified from the table to distribute the one or more notifications to. The user can have a subscription that matches a notification category of the received notifications, and data comprising the notifications can be distributed to the user. A method for more efficient structural parsing of binary representations of text based objects within a data distribution system. Clients subscribe to a topic maintained by the data distribution system server that publishers can publish to. Clients receive an original binary representation of a text based object describing the state of the topic to which the client is subscribed. In response to the state of the topic changing at the data distribution system server, clients receive a binary delta representing the change of the state of the topic. Based on the received binary representation and the binary delta, clients calculate an updated binary representation of the text based object. Using the original binary representation, the updated binary representation, and the binary delta, the client generates a structural delta representing the structural differences between data structures of the original text based object and data structures of the updated text based object.
