Smart broadcasting device
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for broadcasting audio. In one aspect, the method includes receiving, from a server by a smart broadcasting device associated with a service client, an audio broadcast instruction; in response to receiving the audio broadcast instruction, downloading an audio file corresponding to the audio broadcast instruction, wherein the audio file comprises a marketing content related to services provided by the server to the service client associated with the smart broadcasting device; and broadcasting, by the smart broadcasting device, the audio file by using a speaker of the smart broadcasting device.
Multiplexing message distribution within group-based communication system
Various embodiments are directed to message distribution protocols for a group-based communication platform, in which messages exchanged within a plurality of individual communication channels are provided to client devices via a single websocket connection for each client device. The messages are provided together with associated correspondence tags identifying communication channels in which the messages are exchanged, and the client device disseminates those messages for display in appropriate communication-channel-specific display windows based at least in part on the correspondence tags transmitted with the messages.
Content-centric network communication method and apparatus
A Content Centric Network (CCN) communication method and an apparatus are provided. The method includes managing a Forwarding Information Base (FIB) indicating destinations to forward an interest message that requests content, which is performed by a CCN node, wherein the FIB includes at least one of a name prefix field indicating a content name, a face list field indicating destinations to forward an interest that requests content with the content name, and a congestion impact field indicating a relative time taken to receive the content from a corresponding destination in response to the interest message, receiving a first interest message, and forwarding the first interest message to at least one destination node determined by taking into account the congestion impact field.
Method, device and system for pushing information
Embodiments of the present application relate to a method for pushing information, a system for pushing information, and a computer program product for pushing information. A method for pushing information is provided. The method includes sending a query request including a user's instant messaging identifier to a target database, receiving a query result from the target database, the query result including data information corresponding to the user's instant messaging identifier, determining an instant messaging client to push the data information, the determination being based on the user's instant messaging identifier, and pushing the data information to the determined instant messaging client. The data information is looked up in the target database based on a stored correspondence between the user's instant messaging identifier and the data information.
Apparatus, systems, and methods for network interactions
A network interaction system may comprise a terminal device, an instant messaging server, and a public account server. The terminal device may be configured to receive information from the public account server via the instant messaging server. The instant messaging server may be configured to receive from the terminal device an information operation request associated with information from the public account server. Then the instant messaging server may send a notification associated with the information operation request to the public account server and send a response to the information operation request to the terminal device. The public account server may be configured to receive from the instant messaging server the notification and determine an information transmission strategy for the terminal device in accordance with the information operation request.
SPORTS APP WITH CHAT AND PUSHED EVENT INFORMATION
A system is disclosed for providing a game chat app. The system may have a source of information regarding a live event, a plurality of user portals, and a network interface. The system may also have a central processing unit in communication with the source of information and the plurality of user portals via the network interface. The central processing unit may be configured to provide a graphical user interface for display on the plurality of user portals, allowing users to chat with each other inside different chatroom environments. The central processing unit may also be configured to receive a selection of at least one of a sport, a league, a conference, a division, a team, or an athlete for following by users associated with each of the different chatroom environments, and to selectively push information regarding the selection into the different chatroom environments based on the live event.
System for multi-point publication syndication
Embodiments of methods, systems and storage media associated with publication of message content may be described. In embodiments, a content creator may provide content to a message management node. Based on application of one or more business rules, one or more authorized recipients of the message content may be identified, and the message content may be provided to the one or more recipients. In various embodiments, the message content may be reviewed by one or more approvers prior to publication. The message content may not be provided to the authorized recipients without approval from the approvers. Other embodiments may be described and claimed.
System and method for multiple data channel transfer using a single data stream
A number of channels of data, including audio, image, text, and support data are collected at one or more centralized servers. The individual channels are edited and processed for content and format, including the deletion and insertion of advertising content as well as inserting markers to indicate acceptable locations for additional content to be added. The edited and processed channels are sent to a plurality of transmission servers for additional processing and transmission. The transmission servers process one or more of the channels including the insertion of content at designated markers and the combination of the channels of data into a single, packetized data transfer stream. The data transfer stream is broadcast to a plurality of receiving units which de-packetize the original data channels and present any selected channel to the user of the receiving unit. The receiving units send status information back to the centralized servers where the data is processed and analyzed to evaluate the present use, and determine the future use of advertisements.
Methods and systems for updating in-game content
Systems and methods for updating content of a mobile video game allow for mobile communication devices to receive updated content for video games that operate on the devices. The updates may be promotional in nature, and may be pre-selected based on the device type, service, or service provider. The game may contain instructions that cause the mobile communication device to contact an interface and/or server to receive updated content. After the updated content is received by the mobile communication device, the content may be displayed in-game. The user of the mobile communication device may be provided with one or more options that affect the frequency or ability to receive or display updated content. In addition, the server may track what content has already been received by the mobile communication device.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR GROUP CONTENT DELIVERY
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide methods and apparatus for group content delivery. A method in a communication network which comprises the content provider node and a broadcast-multicast service node, wherein the content provider node needs to deliver a message to a group of user equipments via the broadcast multicast service node. The method comprises obtaining one or more group identifiers. The method further comprises sending the one or more group identifiers to the broadcast-multicast service node.
