Adjustable tie assembly for structural members
In an embodiment, an assembly includes a first plate comprising a first primary portion and a first flange disposed orthogonally to the first primary portion. The first primary portion is configured to contact a first structural member and the first flange defining a first through hole. A second plate comprises a second primary portion and a second flange disposed orthogonally to the second primary portion. The second primary portion is configured to contact a second structural member and the second flange defines a second through hole. A cover receives the first and second flanges. A bolt is received through the first through hole, and tightening the bolt tends to draw the second plate towards the first plate.
Ornamental Wreath and Lantern Hanger
A hanging element or a combined wreath and lantern hanger hangs a wreath and a lantern or other decorative element on the same hanger. The hanger may be a unitary, solid, and one-piece component that may hang a first element central to a second element. The first element may be a lantern, and the second element may be a wreath. The hanging element or the combined wreath and lantern hanger may include an arm that may be arranged to stabilize the first element and second element that may be hanging from a surface. The surface may be an interior door, an exterior door, a wall, a gate, a fence, a pillar, a column, and a lamppost. The hanger or the arm may prevent the first element and the second element from damaging the surface.
Cantilevered Screwless Hanger
A cantilevered screwless hanger. The cantilevered screwless hanger includes an elongated member having a support assembly disposed on a first end thereof. In some embodiments, the elongated member includes a hanging device on a second end thereof. The support assembly includes a lower U-shaped member, a connecting member extending upwardly therefrom, and an upper U-shaped member connected to the connecting member. The lower U-shaped member is oriented opposite the upper U-shaped member, such that a first opening defined by the lower U-shaped member is oriented opposite a second opening defined by the upper U-shaped member. The support assembly is adapted to removably secure the cantilevered screwless hanger to an elongated structure comprising a square cross-section without the use of additional fasteners, such that the support structure is not damaged during installation of the cantilevered screwless hanger.
Trellis bracket and system for supporting climbing plants from top of a wall or fence on both sides
An adjustable fence-top trellis support bracket assembly forms the basis of a system for creating adjustable trellises on two sides of a fence or wall, and includes a) an elongated support bracket member, b) curved-loop ends on the elongated bar member and the adjoining bracket portion wherein one is attached proximal one end and the other proximal an opposite end of an elongated bar member; c) a movable L-shaped leg generally perpendicular to an elongated bar member of the elongated support bracket portion, wherein the movable leg is engagable with the elongated support bracket member; and d) a means for adjusting and then securing the movable L-shaped leg against the elongated bar portion of the support bracket member.
Plant pot hanger
A plant pot hanger has three or more cables, each of which cables have a first end and a second end, and wherein the three or more cables are secured together at the first ends of the respective cables. A sliding loop is formed at the second end of each respective cable. Each cable is threaded through the sliding loop of a respective adjacent cable to form a ring adaptable for running under a rim of a plant pot and supporting the plant pot. A loop or a hook for hanging the plant pot preferably extends from the respective first ends of the three or more cables.
Rail Post Vertical Extension System
A rail post mounting device/vertical extension systems for a deck, patio boundary or fence rail posts to alter the appearance of the posts by suspending plants in a structurally sturdy manner. The mounting device is configured to be inserted into a hollow fence post defining a chamber, and comprises a cover member having a top surface configured to hold one or more accessory items, and a bottom surface configured to engage the top of the hollow fence post, and an elongated insert member attached to the bottom surface of the cover member, which is configured for insertion into the post chamber. The elongated insert member also comprises a plurality of resilient retention arms configured to extend toward and pressingly engage with sidewalls of the post chamber.
Bracket for wall mounting
Method and apparatus for a semi-circular bracket for holding plants or the like having a plurality of receptacles for receiving the stems of a plurality of radially extending arms or the like wherein the plant bracket has a base with planar portions thereon for use in mounting the bracket either on a wall or about a central pole by using a separate mounting plate. The semi-circular bracket has a plurality of receptacles therein configured for use with set screws to hold the ends of the arms in the receptacle so that the limbs cannot fall out of the receptacles.
Indoor Gardening System
An indoor gardening system for facilitating easy cultivating of and cooking with fresh herbs and spices is provided. The indoor gardening system comprises a water reservoir for holding a predetermined amount of water with the water reservoir having an outer wall extending from a base wall. A UV lighting system is positioned above the water reservoir. A plurality of plant support arms extend horizontally from the outer wall of the water reservoir with each being substantially perpendicular to the outer wall and fluidly connected to the water reservoir. At least one plant container is supported from at least one plant support arm. Each of the plant support arms is hollow allowing fluid from the water reservoir to move along each plant support arm to be distributed to each of the plants contained in the plant containers.
Universal Bracket Mount for Railings and Fences
A mounting bracket having more desirable utility as compared to known embodiments includes a first flat surface for mounting to a box, shelf, or structure, and a second curved surface for mounting to the header of a railing or fence. The bracket can mount to multiple boxes, shelves, and structures, and does not require tools for installation to the railing or fence.
