Systems include a network element with a plurality of server blades, including a control server and one or more application servers. The control server communicates with each application server to acquire state information about each application server. A switch is in communication with each server blade. The switch is configured to communicate with the control server in order to obtain therefrom the state information acquired by the control server about each application server.

A method and system for selectively displaying calendar information on a secure calendar application in an environment designed to restrict secure applications from processing requests from non-secure applications are described herein. In particular, calendar information can be selectively accessed from a non-secure calendar application in accordance with a sync setting that is enforceable against the calendar information. The calendar information from the non-secure calendar application can be imported into a secure calendar application. In addition, the imported calendar information can be displayed as part of the user interface of the secure calendar application when the secure calendar application is activated.

The radio network (600) also transmits a synchronization signal (SSI 7) associated with a predefined mapping to at least two candidate demodulation reference signals including the demodulation reference signal used for broadcasting the access information. Thereby, a wireless device (602) receiving the synchronization signal is able to demodulate the broadcasted access information and derive valid access related parameters therefrom, based on the synchronization signal (SSI 7).

An agent device is connected with one or more image-forming devices in a local network having a firewall provided therein. A management device carries out remote management of the image-forming devices in the local network through the Internet. The agent device includes a command receiving unit which starts connection with the management device and receives a management command from the management device via the firewall, the command being sent by the management device in response to the connection. An image-forming-device communication unit receives device-state information of a corresponding one of the image-forming devices according to the management command. The present invention is to provide a network synchronization system, wherein a first network apparatus is connected to a physical line, stores a first profile at least including a Service Set Identifier (SSID), a pre-shared key and a channel, and can connect to the Internet according to the first profile and send out a detection message, and at least one second network apparatus is also connected to the physical line and can automatically generate a request message according to the detection message. When receiving the request message, the first network apparatus sends out the first profile in reply. Based on the first profile, the second network apparatus adds a second profile including the same SSID and pre-shared key but a different channel to itself, and then makes a seamless connection with the Internet through the physical line and the first network apparatus according to the second profile.
