A network device may obtain information concerning a virtual chassis that indicates that the network device and an additional network device are to be included in the virtual chassis. The network device may determine, based on the information concerning the virtual chassis, that the network device is connected to the additional network device, wherein the network device is connected to the additional network device via a link between a network interface of the network device and a network interface of the additional network device. The network device may cause the network interface of the network device to be converted to a virtual chassis interface and the network interface of the additional network device to be converted to a virtual chassis interface to enable the network device and the additional network device to be included in the virtual chassis to allow bootstrapping of the virtual chassis as a single logical device.

In response to receiving the IPv6 configuration information, the network device may enable IPv6 processing on the management port of the network device and may register with the NMS based at least in part on the information associated with the NMS. The network device may, in response to receiving one or more configuration commands sent from the NMS to the management port of the network device, configure the network device according to the one or more configuration commands.

The identity is linked to the customer through the job assignment. The method also includes provisioning a class of service template exclusively for providing the intended operation of the CPE at the customer premises and paired with the CPE identity through the job assignment. The method also includes receiving a provisioning request sent by the CPE to a FQDN pointed at the ZTP server and including the CPE identity. Finally, the method includes pushing the COS template to the CPE.

The method includes detecting, by a first hypervisor of a first host machine, that a second host machine having a second hypervisor is being added to a cluster of host machines comprising the first host machine, and identifying a plurality of network connections of the first hypervisor, each network connection being associated with one of a plurality of networks connecting hypervisors on host machines in the cluster, each network connection of the first hypervisor having a set of configuration settings. The method also includes generating, for each network connection, a message including a set of configuration settings of a corresponding network connection of the first hypervisor, and transmitting the message on a respective network to a second hypervisor to facilitate configuration of a corresponding network connection of the second hypervisor.
