Digital twin of IT infrastructure

A digital twin of an IT infrastructure is created to identify a group of critical servers (called “base servers”) needed to replicate the IT infrastructure in a cloud-computing environment. To identify the correct base servers and their actual server configurations, the IT infrastructure is crawled and various telemetry, connection, and network data is analyzed against data sets of other known servers. The digital twin is created to include these base servers and their particular configurations. Then, the digital twin may be deployed on demand in the cloud-computing environment using executable scripts that mimic the base servers and their particular configurations, creating a replication of the IT infrastructure for various purposes (e.g., redundancy, testing, etc.).

The method further includes updating the container networking configuration in view of the updated network information after migration of the virtual machine to the container to maintain network access to the virtual machine through the container as the virtual machine continues to execute within the container.

Provision of logical network data from global manager to local managers

Some embodiments provide a method for a global manager that manages a logical network spanning multiple physical sites. The method receives a set of data describing a modification to a definition of the logical network. From multiple queues that each correspond to a different one of the physical sites spanned by the logical network, the method identifying a set of queues to which to store the received set of data. The method stores the received set of data in the identified set of queues. From each respective queue in the identified set of queues, the method sends the set of data through a respective channel between the global manager and a respective local manager at the respective physical site corresponding to the respective queue.

The overlay network can retrieve, via the message bus, the container image from the containerized application asset repository. The overlay network can provide, via the message bus, the container image to the second cloud network for creating a container based upon the container image.

According to one aspect, a system and method of exchanging GRUUs (Globally Routed User Agent URI (Uniform Resource Identifier)) between a first telephony-enabled device and a second telephony enabled device using a circuit-switched message is provided. Once exchanged, the telephony enabled devices can exchange SIP (session initiated protocol) communications routed by the GRUUs. Any one of the telephony-enabled devices can add a media component to the SIP communications. According to another aspect, a system and method of generating GRUUs is provided. According to another aspect, a system and method of handing off communications to a packet switched network from a circuit switched network is provided.
