A control server adapted to configure a monitoring device in a monitoring system and a method for configuring the control server are also provided.

MODEL DRIVEN PROCESS FOR AUTOMATED DEPLOYMENT OF DOMAIN 2.0 VIRTUALIZED SERVICES AND APPLICATIONS ON CLOUD INFRASTRUCTURE

A model-driven system automatically deploys a virtualized service, including multiple service components, on a distributed cloud infrastructure. A master service orchestrator causes a cloud platform orchestrator to retrieve a cloud services archive file, extract a cloud resource configuration template and create cloud resources at appropriate data centers as specified. The master service orchestrator also causes a software defined network controller to retrieve the cloud services archive file, to extract a cloud network configuration template and to configure layer 1 through layer 3 virtual network functions and to set up routes between them. Additionally, the master service orchestrator causes an application controller to retrieve the cloud services archive file, to extract a deployment orchestration plan and to configure and start layer 4 through layer 7 application components and bring them to a state of operational readiness.

DEVICE ABNORMALITY DETECTION METHOD AND DEVICE NETWORKING SYSTEM
20230199011 · 2023-06-22 ·

The present disclosure provides a device abnormality detection method and a device networking system. The method includes if ledger data of a specific network device in the plurality of network devices changes, synchronizing, by the specific network device, ledger data after the change or difference data to other network devices than the specific network device in the device networking system, where the specific network device is any network device in the device networking system, and the difference data is changed data in the ledger data; and further includes determining whether the plurality of network devices is abnormal according to the difference data.

Techniques for dynamic access control of input/output devices

A technique for dynamically controlling access to client input/output devices includes generating, by a client, a connection request to a central repository. In response to receiving, by the client, a grant to the connection request, an input/output device policy is downloaded from the central repository. The input/output device policy specifies one or more attributes for one or more input/output devices of the client. A user agent, executing on the client, extracts the attributes for the one or more input/output devices from the input/output device policy. The agent then applies the extracted attributes to the client to dynamically control access to the one or more input/output devices based on whether the client is inside or outside an organizational network.

Relay device and non-transitory computer readable medium

A relay device includes an acquisition unit that acquires, upon detection of a change of settings concerning a network environment of an external system or the relay device, information related to the change; a generation unit that generates setting change information for causing settings of the external system to match settings of the relay device with reference to the information acquired by the acquisition unit; and an information setting unit that causes the setting change information generated by the generation unit to be set in the external system by transmitting the setting change information to the external system.

REDUNDANT STORAGE OF CONFIGURATION OF NETWORK DEVICES
20230188419 · 2023-06-15 ·

The present invention relates to a method for distributing configurations of network devices (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8). Said network devices are connected to at least one network (11). At least two network devices (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8) are connected to the network (11) via ports (9). All of the network devices (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8) are moreover provided with a determinable unique identification, and at least one memory (10) assigned to at least one network device (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8) is used. This memory is embodied in addition to the local memory of each network device. According to the invention, at least one network device (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8) now has means for location determination that determine the location of the at least one network device (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8). The configuration of the at least one network device (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8) is then stored, according to the invention, in thememory (10) of another network subscriber (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8) by including the location. This configuration file can then be used to configure interchanged network devices.

Method and system for remote device management

A system for remote device management includes in a network an auto-configuration server managing device, at least one database, and a plurality of auto-configuration servers. The auto-configuration server managing device and the database are coupled in a communicative connection. The database holds information for identification of electronic devices. The auto-configuration server managing device is arranged for communication with a manageable electronic device over the network. The auto-configuration server manager is further being arranged for: receiving a request from the manageable electronic device for configuration data, determining an identification of the manageable electronic device by comparing the request with the information for identification of electronic devices of the database, determining an identification of an auto-configuration server from the plurality of auto-configuration servers in accordance with the identification of the manageable electronic device.

PROVIDING BACKUP AND RESTORE SERVICES TO NETWORK ATTACHED APPLIANCES IN A NETWORK

Provided are a computer program product, system, and method for providing backup and restore services to network attached appliances in a network. Configuration settings comprising configuration settings used in a network attached appliance are gathered and a unique identifier for the network attached appliance is determined. A backup request is generated including the configuration settings, the unique identifier, and a backup operation code. The backup request is broadcasted on the network to be received by the backup servers to store the configuration settings for the unique identifier.

Contextual update compliance management

A process for configuring hardware in a network environment, comprising retrieving a catalog index using a processor, selecting a catalog for a new hardware component, selecting a plurality of software applications for the new hardware product from the catalog, determining a context for the new hardware component, wherein the context identifies one or more variable parameters for one or more of a plurality of software applications and installing the plurality of software applications on the hardware product as a function of the context.

Analyzing network configuration complexity

Techniques are provided for generating a network complexity score. In one approach, a plurality of node configurations that includes a first node configuration and a second node configuration are analyzed. A network complexity score is generated for a network based, at least in part, on one or more of (a) a degree of similarity between the first node configuration and the second node configuration or (b) a dependency between the first node configuration and the second node configuration.
