System and methods for managing a container or its contents
Certain embodiments of the present invention include a retainer, a lid, and a sensor, where the sensor is configured to detect information about the retainer, the lid, or the contents in the retainer. The sensor also may be configured to communicate with an internal or external computer system, thereby facilitating showing the detected information as a representation via a display element. In certain embodiments, the system may include an action element such as an open/close lid opening assembly configured to permit automatically or manually opening or closing a drink aperture or another type of dispensing aperture.
Bottle having water volume measuring function
A bottle having a water volume measuring function comprises a bottle-lid, a bottle-body, and a measure module disposed in the bottle-lid which comprises at least a micro controller unit, a memory unit and a sound wave transceiver unit. The memory unit stores a lookup table with corresponding relationships between a plurality of frequencies and remained water volumes in the bottle-body. The sound wave transceiver unit emits sound waves with sweeping frequencies towards the bottle-body and receives reflected waves. The micro controller unit determines if any frequency of the sound waves is an air-resonance frequency according to the energy level of each of the reflected waves. When a sound wave frequency is determined as an air-resonance frequency, the micro controller unit obtains the corresponding remained water volume by checking with the air-resonance frequency in the lookup table and users can view the remained water volume without opening the bottle-lid.
SOUND RECEPTACLE
Articles of manufacture, systems and methods facilitating sound diode receptacles are provided herein. In one embodiment, an article of manufacture comprises: an inner wall; an outer wall, wherein the inner wall and the outer wall form a double walled receptacle; a speaker device located in an inner region of the receptacle; and a control device having circuitry disposed in an inner region of the receptacle and configured to generate an output of sound that is emitted from the speaker device.
Sound generating beverage container
An insulated beverage container has a handle that extends from a side surface of the container and houses a battery, electrical connections, a luminescent strip and a speaker. An outside surface of the handle is provided with a control switch to activate the electrical components. The container is provided with an attachable lid. A user activates the switch to produce sounds from the speaker.
FOODWARE SYSTEM HAVING VISUAL-STIMULATING, SENSING, HEATING, AND WIRELESS-COMMUNICATION COMPONENTS
An active foodware system includes a mechanical structure and provides visual stimuli, heating of food, and wireless communication by having a power source, a visual stimulating component, a heating component, and a wireless communication component. Other components can provide sensing, data processing, as well as auditory and haptic stimuli. The mechanical structure can be a single unit where the components and circuitry are all contained in the unit and protected from water, or can be two units: an upper food surface for receiving food, and an underplate comprising components and circuitry.
Smart Carafe
A beverage vessel includes: a beverage container in which a beverage may be stored said beverage container having an upper opening by which beverage may be poured in and poured out of the beverage container and a wall extending from the opening to the bottom of the beverage container; a closure element adapted to be positioned in the upper opening of the beverage container; a light distribution element arranged at the closure element; and a light emitter positioned such that the light emitted by the light emitter passes at least a part of the volume of the beverage container before entering the light distribution element; wherein said closure element comprises a locking mechanism, said locking mechanism comprising at least three locking arms extending in radial direction of the beverage vessel to the beverage container, wherein each arm of the locking element comprises an elastic portion being elastic in the radial direction of the beverage vessel; the beverage container comprises at least one concave portion in the wall, said concave portion extending in radial direction of the beverage vessel; and said arms releasably engage in the concave portion in the wall for releasably locking the closure element to the beverage container.

Smart Bottle
The invention discloses portable beverage vessel for storing beverage to be consumed by a human, having a beverage container in which the beverage is stored; and an electronic device having a vessel controller, a transmitter and a receiver, said vessel controller being adapted to communicate with a beverage dispenser by exchanging messages using the transmitter and receiver of the electronic device; wherein the vessel controller is adapted to send an identification message to the beverage dispenser, by which the beverage dispenser can identify the portable beverage vessel. The invention also discloses a communicating between the portable beverage vessel and a fluid dispenser and a personal electronic device.
Illuminated Double Wall Lens Indicia Drinking Vessel
A double walled illuminated vessel for displaying indicia comprising an outer sleeve, an inner liner, a lens, a transparent or translucent connection ring, a base and an illumination module adapted to be inserted into the base whereby the base and connection ring are connected to each other creating a base illumination unit. Light from the illumination module passes through the hollow space between the outer sleeve and the inner liner such that the lens bearing indicia is illuminated thus prominently displaying any desired graphic, logo, design, trademark, symbol, letter, number or any other indicia. The connection ring transmits and diffuses light through the inner liner and upper rim as well as the sidewall of the connection ring. The base illumination unit is removable from the outer sleeve and can be used as an independent light source by a user. Additionally, the illumination module is rechargeable in one embodiment and can provide an adequate charge to a mobile device
