An electronic device is provided. The electronic device comprising a flexible display includes a first area and a second area extending from the first area, a motor module configured to move at least a part of the second area according to a driving state in the first state and the second state, and a processor electrically connected to the flexible display and the motor module. The processor identifies a characteristic value related to the motor module when being changed from the first state to the second state and controls the motor module such that an area exposed to the outside of the electronic device among the second area is changed based on the identified characteristic value.

An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a housing structure including a first housing and a second housing connected to first housing, the second housing being connected to the first housing so as to be slidable while being at least partially inserted into or withdrawn from the first housing, a sensor module including at least one sensor, an antenna, an antenna tuner electrically connected to the antenna and configured to match impedance of the antenna, and a processor operatively connected to the sensor module, the antenna, and the antenna tuner, wherein the processor is configured to determine withdrawal information about a withdrawn degree of the second housing by using the sensor module, select an index corresponding to the withdrawal information from among multiple indices in which impedance values of the antenna according to multiple different pieces of withdrawal information are sampled, and control, based on a tuning code corresponding to the selected index, the antenna tuner to activate or deactivate at least some among at least one of one or more capacitors or one or more inductors included in the antenna tuner, so as to match the impedance of the antenna.

The electronic device, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, may be configured to: display a first screen on a flexible display in a state where the electronic device and an external electronic device are operably connected via a communication module; display a second screen corresponding to the first screen on the external electronic device; detect the occurrence of a first event for expanding the flexible display; according to the detection of the occurrence of the first event, display, along with the first screen, a third screen different from the first screen on the expanded flexible display; and control the external electronic device so that only the second screen is displayed on the external electronic device.

Embodiments provide a terminal device control method and a terminal device. The method includes: when a bending behavior of a flexible display occurs, determining a bending parameter of the flexible display, where the bending parameter includes at least one of a bending time parameter, a bending location parameter, a bending direction parameter, and a bending degree parameter; and adjusting a user interface (UI) of the flexible display based on the bending parameter, or generating, based on the bending parameter, a command corresponding to a first application. According to the method provided in the embodiments, the bending behavior of the flexible display is abstracted as the bending parameter, and the bending parameter is used as input of the application. This manner can effectively improve user experience.
Display method and terminal device
A display method includes: in a case that a first area of a screen displays a running interface of a first application, receiving a bending operation performed by a user for the terminal; and in response to the bending operation, displaying a target mark in a second area of the screen, and displaying the running interface of the first application in a third area of the screen. The third area does not overlap the second area, and the target mark is used to indicate at least one of an unread message, a second application, or a target function.
