ELECTRONIC DEVICE INCLUDING FOLDABLE HOUSING
An electronic device includes a foldable housing including a hinge structure, a first housing structure including a first surface facing a first direction and a second surface facing a second direction opposite to the first direction, a second housing structure including a third surface facing a third direction and a fourth surface facing a fourth direction opposite to the third direction, and folded with respect to the first housing structure about the hinge structure, a wireless communication circuitry disposed inside the first housing structure or the second housing structure, a sensor disposed inside the first housing structure or the second housing structure, a grip sensor circuitry disposed outside the first housing structure or the second housing structure, a processor disposed inside the first housing structure or the second housing structure, and a memory operatively connected with the processor.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An electronic device has a structure in which two portions between which a bent portion of a display panel is positioned are each fixed to a housing. The electronic device takes two forms of a form in which the display panel is opened and a form in which the display panel is folded in three. The electronic device includes a mechanism for sliding two housings parallel to each other. The display panel is changed in shape so that a portion where a display surface of the display panel is convexly curved and a portion where the display surface of the display panel is concavely curved in the folded state move in directions parallel and opposite to each other. At this time, the two portions of the display panel which are supported by the housings are slid while their display surfaces maintain a state parallel to each other.
Remote controller
A remote controller includes a remote controller body including a control device configured to receive a remote-control command, a holding mechanism configured to hold a mobile terminal, and a connecting mechanism connected between the remote controller body and the holding mechanism. The holding mechanism is movably connected to the remote controller body via the connecting mechanism and is configured to move relative to the remote controller body to be in an extended state or in a contracted state.
Foldable wedge-shaped mobile electronic device
A mobile electronic smartphone device having a wedge-shaped body comprised of a curved and slanted display gradually tapered towards the thin end, and a thick head section comprised of a battery compartment and a modular, rotatable or replaceable camera module. The display may be rigid LCD, OLED, microLED with a rigid glass cover. Optionally, flexible, bendable display with stretch-rigid circuit backing and flexible cover screen may be used for a foldable or rollable device, comprised of a bending hinge located at or below the mid-section of the display body, wherein the thinner display section is bendable against the thicker section of the front display. Another embodiment of the wedge body is comprised of rollable housing slats and a flexible display in the lower half thinner display section that can be rolled up like a scroll or lie-flat against the thicker part of the device body.
Mobile terminal with flexible display
In a mobile terminal, a second housing includes a second hinge configured to fit together with a first hinge to allow a flexible display to fold between a first housing and the second housing. The first housing includes a cutout portion configured to form a space for permitting elastic deformation of a bending portion of the flexible display that is folded.
Mobile electronic device enabling screen size variation
A mobile electronic device includes a flexible display having a front display surface and a back non-display surface; and a folding mechanism configured such that the display is folded with back non-display surfaces facing each other. The folding mechanism may include at least one rounded radius about which the display is folded, and may be configured such that the display is folded a plurality of times. The mobile electronic device may take the form of a display accessory including a docking mechanism for receiving a primary mobile electronic device.
Housing features of an electronic device
An enclosure and a method for forming an enclosure are disclosed. The enclosure may be formed from metal, such as aluminum, and further include a non-metal portion allowing for transmission and receipt of electromagnetic waves. The non-metal portion may be interlocked to the enclosure and in particular, to a region within the enclosure including a first material having a relatively high strength and stiffness compared to the non-metal portion. Interlocking means may include forming dovetail cuts into the enclosure to receive the non-metal portion, a hole or cavity drilled into the enclosure which includes internal threads, and a rod inserted into the first material to provide a tension to the non-metal portion. Methods of assembling internal components using anodization are also disclosed.
Electronic device and information processing method
An electronic device and an information processing method include a first body having a first surface and a second surface opposite to each other; a connecting body; and a second body having a first surface and a second surface opposite to each other, with the second body connected to the first body through the connecting body. A first display is arranged on at least the first surface of the first body. A first input unit is arranged on at least the second surface of the second body; wherein, the electronic device has a first outer surface that includes the first surface of the first body and the first surface of the second body, and a second outer surface that includes the second surface of the first body and the second surface of the second body.
COVER-BAFFLE-STAND SYSTEM FOR LOUDSPEAKER SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USE THEREOF
A case-baffle-stand system utilized with a dipole speaker, in which the case-baffle-stand system has a cover that, when opened, is a baffle to enhance the sound waves emitting from the speaker system and is also a stand to stabilize the speaker in its proper standing orientation, and when closed, protects the speaker.
Electronic Device with Hinge Defining an Asymmetrical Service Loop for a Flexible Display and Corresponding Systems and Methods
An electronic device includes a hinge coupling at least a first device housing to a second device housing. A flexible display is coupled to the first device housing and the second device housing and spans the hinge. The first device housing defines a curvilinear recess forming at least some of the flexible display into an asymmetrical service loop when the first device housing and the second device housing pivot about the hinge from an axially displaced open position to a closed position. Additional hinges and device housings can be added to accommodate flexible displays of varying lengths.
