Overhead door storage system
A storage apparatus uses the tube of an overhead door hinge to releasably attach a rack to hang storage items. The storage apparatus has a mounting hook affixed to a rigid rail and may also includes a support bracket for retaining space between the overhead door and the storage apparatus such that it remains parallel to the door when closed. An alternative embodiment includes a mounting bracket which can be attached to an overhead door and used in lieu of the hinges. Another embodiment includes a single hook which swings freely from the overhead door when mounted.
Overhead Door Storage System
One embodiment of the overhead storage system uses the tube of a conventional overhead door hinge to releasably attach a rack with conventional ways to hold storage items. Another embodiment of an overhead door storage system uses the conventional hardware of a conventional overhead door to mount a rack with hooks to hold garage storage items on an overhead door. Another embodiment of the overhead storage system uses a bracket to mount a rack with hooks to hold garage storage items using the conventional hardware of a conventional overhead door. Other embodiments are described and shown.
Hinge hanger and accessory components
A hinge hanger and accessory components are described. In a one illustrative embodiment, the hinge hanger includes a curved supporting connector, a hook component and an arm component. The curved supporting connector is configured to interface with a cylindrical component. Also, the curved supporting connector has a top lip that interfaces with the cylindrical component. Additionally, the curved supporting connector has a bottom end that interfaces with the cylindrical component. The hook component is disposed near the bottom end of the curved supporting connector. The arm component extends from the curved supporting connector. The arm component includes a vertical upright component proximate to a distal end of the arm component. The arm component also includes an elastic base at the distal end of the arm component.
Door hinge attachable telescopic hanger
A door hinge-attachable telescopic hanger with: a) a door hinge attachment member, including an open-ended vertical shaft for attachment to a door hinge; b) an elongated main support member connected to the hinge attachment member, extending outwardly therefrom at a non-parallel angle to said vertical shaft; c) at least one moveable supplemental support member telescopically connected to said elongated main support member for movement extending away from said door hinge attachment member; d) a handle-sheath covering at least half said door hinge attachment member and a portion of said elongated main support member. There is a pin having a pin upper section and a pin lower section, and having a stopping flange between said pin upper section and said pin lower section.
DOOR HINGE ATTACHABLE MULTI-TELESCOPIC HANGER
A door hinge-attachable telescopic hanger includes A) a door hinge-attachable telescopic hanger with a door hinge attachment member, including a) an open-ended vertical shaft for attachment to a door hinge via a pin; b) an elongated main support member connected thereto and extending outwardly from the vertical shaft and extending away from the door hinge attachment member; c) at least one moveable supplemental support member telescopically connected to the elongated main support member for movement; d) a handle-sheath covering a portion of the door hinge attachment member and a portion of the elongated main support member; and, B) a pin having a pin upper section and a pin lower section, and having a stopping flange between these sections. Three telescopic support members are preferred.
