Electronic apparatus, controlling method of electronic apparatus and computer readable medium
Provided is an electronic apparatus. The electronic apparatus includes an audio receiver configured to obtain an audio signal of sound output by an external object; a sensor configured to sense a posture of the electronic apparatus; a display; and a processor configured to, based on the audio signal that is obtained by the audio receiver, determine a direction in which the external object is located with respect to the electronic apparatus, and control the display to display a graphical object that corresponds to the external object based on the posture of the electronic apparatus sensed by the sensor and the direction in which the external object is located.
Methods and devices for determining a signal is from a vehicle
A method for generating an alert, the method comprising: identifying a range of frequencies associated with vehicular communication; determining that a frequency of a received signal is within the range of frequencies associated with vehicular communication; determining that the received signal is from a vehicle; and generating the alert that the vehicle is approaching.
INTERFACE CIRCUITS AND COMMUNICATION SYSTEM FOR COUPLING A HOST DEVICE TO AN ACCESSORY DEVICE AND METHOD FOR COMMUNICATION BETWEEN SUCH DEVICES
A host interface circuit operates in a power mode when connected to an accessory device compatible with a power supply via a first line of a data cable. During power mode, the host interface circuit couples a power regulator to the first line. The host interface circuit operates in a legacy mode when connected to an accessory device not compatible with such a power supply and couples the legacy terminal to the first line during legacy mode. An accessory interface circuit configured to operate in a power mode when connected to a host device capable of a power supply via a first line couples a power input of an active device to the first line and a data input of the active device to a second line during power mode.
Automatic Detection of Ear Tip Type
An ear tip to audio headset connection system. The invention support both open ear fit, and closed ear fit ear tips, and distinguishes which is currently attached. Open ear and closed ear configurations normally generate differing audio signal characteristics. Including differing levels of overall volume, as well as different amounts of attenuation across the audio spectrum. Our invention adjusts the audio signal limiter, equalizer and other audio settings differently for each type of earpiece, compensating for their inherent differences.
Electronic device, control method, and non-transitory computer-readable medium
Provided is an electronic device including a communication unit, a motion sensor, and at least one processor. The communication unit receives information for determining that a user of the electronic device is located within a predetermined area. The at least one processor determines a movement state of the user based on an input value from the motion sensor. The at least one processor executes notification processing when the determined movement state of the user is a one's own movement state and the electronic device is located in the predetermined area while a function of an earphone is being executed.
HEADSET CONNECTOR
An in-ear hearing device having an ear interfacing portion integrally formed with an elongated stem portion, wherein the ear interfacing portion extends away from the elongated stem portion; a first acoustic port formed in the ear interfacing portion; a speaker disposed in the ear interfacing portion and aligned to emit sound from the acoustic port; a plurality of electrical contacts disposed at an end of the stem portion, the plurality of electrical contacts including first and second contacts; a second acoustic port formed at the end of the elongated stem portion between the first and second contacts; a microphone disposed in the stem portion; and a channel that fluidically couples the microphone to the second acoustic port.
INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE
There is provided an information processing device including: a sensor configured to detect that the information processing device is worn on a part of a human body; a processing unit configured to process information; and a communication unit configured to communicate with another device. The processing unit transmits a signal to the another device on the basis of a detection signal detected by the sensor. The processing unit performs a process according to an instruction transmitted from the another device in accordance with the signal.
Control device, connector, and audio interface system for electronic devices
The present invention relates to apparatuses and methods to permit control and operation of an electronic device while participating in another activity, including a variety of sports and recreational activities. A control device, breakaway connector, and one or more speakers and microphones are provided and configured to enhance the ability of users to answer or end telephone calls or start, stop, or resume audio output to the speakers while a user is in motion or wearing gloves that would render the use of conventional call answer buttons difficult or impossible.
System for control and operation of electronic devices
The present invention relates to the control and operation of cellular telephones and other portable electronic devices, and particularly to improvements in the functionality of those devices for use in conjunction with a variety of sports and recreational activities.
Method and apparatus for delivering audio content to a user
Embodiments disclosed herein generally relate to method or apparatus that can automatically control the delivery of an audio output to a user. In some embodiments, an audio device that can automatically deliver, halt and/or modify an audio signal based on an impedance measurement made by electrical elements in a headphone or between electrical elements in both headphones of the audio device.
