SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR APPLYING A LOW FREQUENCY MAGNETIC FIELD TO BIOLOGICAL TISSUES
A system and method for applying a low strength, low frequency magnetic field therapy to biological tissues. A coil is excited with a low frequency oscillating current, e.g., 10-1000 Hz. The coil is, e.g., 5-200 turns, having a diameter of 2-20 mm, and produces a magnetic field strength of about 0.01-5 mTelsa at a distance of 1 cm from the coil, or a cover over the coil, into the tissue. The current is preferably controlled by a smartphone or other programmable device controlled by a downloadable app in accordance with a PEMF program which may be separately downloaded or updated, and may be provided through an audio jack. Alternately, a digital interface and/or wireless interface may control the current. An app on the smartphone may be used to control the frequency, amplitude/envelope modulation, waveform, duration, etc. of the oscillation. The coil may be in mineral housing with a simple filter, and TRRS-type audio jack.
Operation control method for vehicle infotainment system
An operation control method for a vehicle infotainment system for enabling phone projection to be automatically executed during a connection between a head unit of a vehicle and a smart device, and the method comprises: a phone projection setting step of allowing any one of a plurality of phone projections mounted on a head unit of a vehicle to be set; a step of connecting a first smart device to the head unit of a vehicle; a step of determining whether the first smart device connected to the head unit of a vehicle supports the phone projection set in the phone projection setting step; and a step of executing the set phone projection if the first smart device supports the set phone projection, according to the determination result.
ALUMINUM-AIR BATTERY UNITS AND STACKS
Aluminum-air battery units and stacks are provided with frames configured to mechanically support the anode of each unit, within a housing configured to support the frame and the air cathode(s) mechanically, sealably hold the electrolyte within the housing and in fluid communication with openings in the housingforming one or two sided electrochemical cell in each unit. The frame comprises a protective strap configured to protect edges of the rectangular anode against corrosion by the electrolyte during operation, and also an external trapezoid shape that is configured to press the protective strap against the edges of the rectangular anode upon insertion of the frame with the anode into the housing. Various embodiments comprise, spacers between the anode and cathodes and grids supporting airways to the cathodes. In disclosed configurations, anode may be replaced after electrolyte evacuation while maintaining the stack sealed and quickly ready for renewed operation.
MOTOR-VEHICLE VOICE-ASSISTANCE APPARATUS
A voice assistance device (1) for motor vehicles, which can be arranged in the interior of the motor vehicle, has a display (2), which is configured on the front of the voice assistance device (1), at least one microphone (3), which is disposed in or on the display (2), and a loudspeaker, by means of which audio signals of the voice assistance device (1) can be output into the interior of the motor vehicle. In order to achieve the best possible sound in the interior of the motor vehicle, the invention proposes that the loudspeaker has a sound outlet opening (4) which is arranged on the front side of the voice assistance device (1) comprising the display (2) and the microphone (3).
System and Method for Generating Data Regarding a Vehicle Crash
A method for generating data regarding a vehicle crash includes receiving initial sensor data, determining that the initial sensor data includes sensor data indicating a crash has occurred, receiving additional sensor data; and generating combined sensor data. A computing device for generating data regarding a vehicle crash includes a processor and a memory including instructions that when executed cause the processor to receive initial sensor data, determine that the initial sensor data includes sensor data indicating that a crash has occurred, receive additional sensor data; and generate combined sensor data. A computer readable storage medium includes non-transitory computer readable instructions stored thereon for generating data regarding a crash, wherein the instructions when executed cause a processor to receive initial sensor data; receive additional sensor data, determine that the initial sensor data includes sensor data indicating that a crash has occurred; and generate combined sensor data.
Car Surveillance System
A safety system particularly for a transport service software application. The system integrates into an existing transport service software application communicates with a cellular network mobile device of a transport service driver or at least one passenger located in a vehicle offering rideshare services. In an emergency, a user of the system may press a panic button on the application. The mobile device activates its camera and microphone turns on to livestreams audio and video to emergency personnel, and transmits GPS data to said emergency personnel.
In-vehicle handsfree apparatus and data transfer method
An in-vehicle navigation apparatus with a handsfree function establishes a Bluetooth communication link with a cellular phone. When receiving from the cellular phone outgoing call history data and incoming call history data, which were stored in the cellular phone before establishing the Bluetooth communication link, the in-vehicle navigation apparatus stores, in a work memory, the received outgoing call history data and the received incoming call history data, equally to, of the navigation apparatus itself, outgoing call history data and incoming call history data. An outgoing call operation then becomes possible using outgoing call history data and incoming call history data, which are stored in the work memory.
VEHICLE DISPLAY SYSTEM, VEHICLE DISPLAY METHOD, AND COMPUTER-READABLE NON-TRANSITORY STORAGE MEDIUM STORING VEHICLE DISPLAY PROGRAM
By a vehicle display system, a vehicle display method, a computer-readable non-transitory storage medium storing a vehicle display method, information is displayed on a first display screen of a first display and a second display screen of a second display in a cooperation manner. The first display and the second display are arranged vertically. A target person who visually recognizes the first display screen and the second display screen is selected. A display aspect of the information on the first display screen or the second display screen is changed.
Vehicular information processing system, vehicular information processing program, and mobile communication terminal the suppresses excessive increase in traffic between mobile communication terminal and in-vehicular device
A vehicular information processing system includes a mobile communication terminal including a communication unit for obtaining application software which uses vehicle information and configured to be provided with a functional unit by the application software, and an in-vehicle device configured to provide the mobile communication terminal with vehicle information to be used in at least two functional units, in response to an information acquisition request from the mobile communication terminal via a communication channel established between the in-vehicle device and the mobile communication terminal. The mobile communication terminal includes: an integrator for integrating information acquisition requests that include a common item, a transmitter for transmitting the integrated information acquisition requests to the in-vehicle device, and a receiver for receiving the vehicle information to be used in the at least two functional units from the in-vehicle device.
SIGNAL PROCESSING APPARATUS
A signal processing apparatus includes a generator, an output controller, and an echo canceller. The generator generates an output sound signal by combining an over-the-phone sound signal with a system sound signal different from the over-the-phone sound signal. The output controller outputs, to a loudspeaker, the output sound signal generated by the generator. The echo canceller cancels the output sound signal from an input sound signal input via a microphone located in a vicinity of the loudspeaker. The output controller suppresses a level of the system sound signal to be output from the loudspeaker so as not to be greater than a predetermined value within a range in which a volume value for the over-the-phone sound signal is settable.
