Customization of CNAM information for calls placed to mobile devices
One example method of operation may include identifying a call from a calling device destined for a mobile device, identifying a calling device number associated with the calling device and a mobile device number associated with the mobile device, determining whether a stored calling relationship exists between the calling device number and the mobile device number, and appending one of a plurality of caller identification names (CNAM) to the call based on the determination as to whether there is a stored calling relationship.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR AUTHENTICATION USING BROWSER FINGERPRINTING
Embodiments described herein provide for authenticating callers to call centers using browser fingerprinting. A call center system or third-party analytics system includes a server that transmits notifications to a caller device that includes an interactive hyperlink or URL to a particular webpage. When a browser of the caller device navigates to the webpage, the server captures certain types of information about the caller device and generates a browser fingerprint for the caller device. The browser fingerprint is compared against a database of registered browser fingerprints to verify that the caller device of the current call is the registered, expected caller device. The server transmits the notification via any number of communication channels and protocols, such as text messages (e.g., SMS messages, MMS messages), emails, and push notifications associated with client-side software, among others.
System, Method, and Apparatus for Initiating Outbound Communications from a User Device
Provided are systems, methods, and apparatuses initiating outbound communications. The system may include at least one processor of a telecommunications device comprising a display and a communication application, the at least one processor programmed or configured to: receive, with the communication application, a communication request comprising a number, the communication request initiated by a user of the telecommunications device, determine whether to automatically initiate a communication to the number based on recipient data associated with the number, in response to determining to not automatically initiate the communication to the number, prompt the user, on the display of the telecommunications device, with a selectable option configured to initiate the communication to the number upon selection, and in response to determining to automatically initiate the communication to the number, automatically initiate the communication to the number upon selection
Verification of caller identification using application
Technology for identifying that a communication is from a verified enterprise includes receiving, by a device associated with a user, a data packet from a phone network. The data packet can be included in a communication to the device, which can have an application configured to verify communications from at least one enterprise. A token within the data packet can be identified by the application, and the application can compare the token to at least one token identifier associated with the at least one enterprise. In response to the token corresponding to at least one token identifier, the application can verify that the communication is from the at least one enterprise. In response to the communication being verified, the application can display a validation image on the device.
Uninterrupted Media Play and Call Management Text User Interface
A method and an electronic device employing an uninterrupted media play and call management system (UMPCMS) are provided for managing an incoming call without interrupting playing of media on the electronic device. The UMPCMS receives an indication of the incoming call, generates a notification object with one or more call management options for the incoming call in a configurable format based on preconfigured criteria, and overlays the generated notification object with the call management options on a graphical user interface (GUI) provided by the UMPCMS, while supporting continued playing of the media on the electronic device via the GUI without interruption by the incoming call. The UMPCMS receives a selection of a call management option from the electronic device and performs one or more executable actions on the incoming call and/or the playing of the media on the electronic device based on the received selection of the call management option.
CALL CENTER WEB-BASED AUTHENTICATION USING A CONTACTLESS CARD
Systems, methods, articles of manufacture, and computer-readable media. A server may receive a phone call and generate a uniform resource locator (URL) comprising a session identifier for an account. The server may transmit the URL to a client device. The server may receive, from a web browser, a request comprising the URL. The server may determine that the session identifier in the URL of the request matches the session identifier for the account, and transmit, to the web browser, a web page at the URL. The server may receive, from the web browser, a cryptogram read by the web page via a card reader of the client device and decrypt the cryptogram. The server may authenticate the identity of the caller for the call based on decrypting the cryptogram and the session identifier of the URL matching the session identifier of the account.
Simultaneous voice and data content driven commercial data platform
One disclosed system includes dialer device with a dialer identifier that initiates a call with a receiver device with a receiver identifier over a voice channel. A database stores: interaction data in association with both the receiver identifier and the dialer identifier; a content quality metric in association with the interaction data; and a network topology in which the receiver identifier and the dialer identifier are associated with nodes and are connected by an edge. A server is programmed to: update, based on the content quality metric and the network topology, a rankings associated with the receiver identifier and the dialer identifier; and one of: surface the ranking associated with the dialer identifier and the ranking associated with the receiver identifier to an external searching agent using an external data channel and without using any voice channel; or rank the dialer identifier for an internal searching agent using the ranking.
System and method for identifying and handling unwanted callers using a call answering system
A method and system for identifying an unwanted caller using a call answering system. The method comprises receiving, by a call records server, information about callers from a plurality of telephony devices and one or more phone number data sources, classifying, by the call records server, one or more of the callers as either wanted or unwanted callers based on the received information, and storing, by the call records server, the received information and the classification of the one or more of the callers into a directory. The method further comprises identifying, by a call answering server, that a call from a given caller from a phone number to a receiving telephony device is from an unwanted caller by searching the directory, and handling, by the call answering server, the call from the given caller according to one or more preferences of the user, the one or more preferences including rejecting the call from the receiving telephony device, playing a recorded message, and disposing of the call.
Call screening service for inbound communications
One example method of operation may include receiving a call message intended for a call recipient, removing one or more portions of call message data included in the call message, identifying one or more of a trunk group and an entry point associated with the received call message, adding one or more of a trunk group identifier (TGRP) and a universally unique identifier (UUID) to the call message to create a modified call message, and forwarding the modified call message to a destination network associated with the call recipient.
Caller verification in rich communication services (RCS)
Techniques for caller verification in Rich Communication Services (RCS) for text messaging are discussed herein. A communication client can be the communication client designated to receive incoming communications for the user equipment. The user equipment may use the communication client to send, to a network device, a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) instance to set communication client. The SIP instance may include a primary designator and a Universally Unique Identifier (UUID) associated with the client. The network device may store the information for the user equipment including the UUID and capability set. A second user equipment may poll the network device for the communications capabilities of the first user equipment before establishing a connection.
