CALLING LINE/NAME IDENTIFICATION OF ENTERPRISE SUBSCRIBERS IN MOBILE CALLS
A system, server, and method of DTMF detection in a VoIP network.
Speech-based contextual delivery of content
In some implementations, one or more computers receive audio data indicating an utterance of a first participant during a call with a second participant. The one or more computers obtain text of the utterance of the first participant. The one or more computers identify an information card associated with the utterance based on the text of the utterance of the first participant. The one or more computers provide information card data causing the identified information card to be provided, for presentation during the call, by a device associated with the second participant.
System, method, and apparatus for common contact management
A system for providing management of contact records includes a contact record that is associated with an initiator and is indexed by a phone number of the originator. To initiate delivery of some part of the contact record of the originator, the originator enters a phone number of a recipient into an application and some part of the fields of the contact record are transmitted to a device of the recipient where they are stored in the recipient's contact list. In some embodiments, the part of the fields sent is determined by a relationship between the initiator and the recipient such as family, co-worker, acquaintance, friend, stranger, etc. When changes are made to the contact record, the recipient device will receive updated information. Features are provided for automatic deletion of the subset of fields from the recipient device upon request or after a specified time period.
Detection and prevention of unwanted calls in a telecommunications system
A method that detects unwanted calls based on information shared between a first telecommunications network provided by a first service provider and a second service provider providing a second telecommunications network including receiving, by a data-processing system, a request to provide a telecommunications service to the first telecommunications network, the request being received by the first telecommunications network from a user of the first telecommunications network through a first gateway, and wherein the request comprises a calling party identification that identified a calling party and a called party identification that identified a called party. The method further includes examining, by the data-processing system, statistics relating to requests for telecommunications services; and generating, by the data-processing system, a first signal when the called party identification in the request appears in the statistics in excess of a predetermined first number of instances within a predetermined first time interval.
Systems and methods for providing caller identification over a public switched telephone network
A system and method of providing caller identification (ID) over a public switched telephone network (PSTN). For outbound calls, the system and method enable a caller to provide a caller ID that differs from the native caller ID of their mobile phone. The system and method enable multiple phones tied to a single account to display the same caller ID for outbound calls. For forwarded inbound calls, such as calls being forwarded from an office, the system and method inform the recipient of the identification of the call as well as that the call is being forwarded. The system and method enable the recipient to have calls forwarded from more than one number and identify the identity of the caller as well as the specific number the call is being forwarded from.
System and method for providing telephone event data
A system and method for providing telephone event data are described. The system comprises a communications module; a processor coupled to the communications module; and a memory coupled to the processor, the memory storing processor-executable instructions which, when executed by the processor, configure the processor to receive, via the communications module and from a telco server, telephone event data; translate at least a portion of the telephone event data into a format compliant with a particular application executing on a computing device; and send, via the communications module and to the computing device executing the particular application, the translated portion of the telephone event data.
System, Method and Computer Program Product for Extracting User Profiles and Habits Based on Speech Recognition and Calling History for Telephone System Advertising
A system, method and computer program product for providing targeted messages to a person using telephony services by generating user profile information from telephony data and using the user profile information to retrieve targeted messages.
Automatic After Call Social Messaging Connection Platform
This disclosure provides methods, systems, services, and platforms for automatically prompting a user of a mobile device to follow an entity on a social media network after a triggering event. This disclosure enables Mobile Network Operators to generate more followers on social media, and, thereby, connect better with potential customers or fans. When a business, group, or other entity has an active social media campaign, a message comprising instructions to launch a browser on a mobile device and navigate to the entity's social media page is sent automatically after a triggering event occurs.
Utilizing sip messages to determine the status of a remote terminal in VOIP communication systems
There is a growing problem in correctional facility telecommunications systems in which parties on a voice call may connect inmate callers with restricted parties. Prison communication systems monitor calls to prevent such activity, but in Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) environments such systems may fail to detect this activity. The present disclosure provides details of a system and method for using SIP messages common in VoIP environments to detect illicit activity initiated by a party on a voice call within a controlled environment. Scenarios are detected in which a called party connects an inmate caller to a restricted party via three-way call conferencing, call forwarding, or other call features. Corrective actions are then taken when such activity is detected, such as call blocking or alerting officials illicit activity is occurring.
Communication monitoring systems and methods
A system comprising: (a) a compliance server adapted to receive an audio feed of a telephone conversation; (b) an identification module adapted to ascertain IP addresses from which said audio feed originates and identify participants in said telephone conversation using said IP addresses; and (c) an analysis module adapted to ascertain a subject of said telephone conversation.
