Automatic Aftercall Directory And Phonebook Entry Advertising
This disclosure provides methods, services, and platforms that automatically prompt mobile phone users to add contact information to their phone book after a triggering event such as calling a phone number. The methods, services, and platforms allow mobile network operators to provide a service that allows businesses to potentially have their numbers added to the phonebook of a mobile phone after a disconnected call.
Dect Portable Device Base Station
The present invention concerns a base station (12) having a DECT communication module (13) for wirelessly communicating with one or more registered portable DECT devices 10). The base station also has a virtual assistant module connecting over an IP communication channel (28) to a virtual assistant providing responses to user instructions, and a telephony module connecting to and accessing a remote resource over a telephony communication channel (27). A device manager (15) identifies and stores communication parameters of the DECT devices, and can implement a user instruction communicated from a DECT device via the DECT communication module and can route virtual assistant responses to a user instruction. A broker module (19) establishes a communication link between the DECT devices and the virtual assistant, and between the DECT devices and the telephony communication channel. The broker module includes a transcoder module (17) operating to trans-code communications over the communication link between the DECT devices and the virtual assistant in the event of a disparity in communication parameters to enable communication of user instructions and responses between the virtual assistant and a DECT device.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR ACCESSING CONTACT LISTS ON AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE THAT IS UNAVAILABLE OR UNUSABLE
An apparatus, method, and non-transitory computer readable medium are provided for accessing data on a phone that is inaccessible. The apparatus includes a memory configured to store a plurality of contact profiles in a contact list corresponding to an inaccessible device, and a processor coupled to the memory. The apparatus receives, from an unknown device over a voice connection, an access identifier corresponding to the inaccessible device and a contact identifier associated with a contact profile of the plurality of contact profiles; identifies the contact list based on matching the access identifier with the inaccessible device; determines a contact device of the contact profile in the contact list corresponding to the contact identifier; and connects, over the voice connection, the unknown device to the contact device corresponding to the contact profile.
System, method, and apparatus for common contact management
A system for providing management of contact records includes a contact record that is associated with an initiator and is indexed by a phone number of the originator. To initiate delivery of some part of the contact record of the originator, the originator enters a phone number of a recipient into an application and some part of the fields of the contact record are transmitted to a device of the recipient where they are stored in the recipient's contact list. In some embodiments, the part of the fields sent is determined by a relationship between the initiator and the recipient such as family, co-worker, acquaintance, friend, stranger, etc. When changes are made to the contact record, the recipient device will receive updated information. Features are provided for automatic deletion of the subset of fields from the recipient device upon request or after a specified time period.
ADAPTIVE NATURAL LANGUAGE STEGANOGRAPHY AND WATERMARKING FOR VIRTUAL ASSISTANTS
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for announcing and detecting automated conversation are disclosed. One of the methods includes initiating, over a natural language communication channel, a conversation with a communication participant using a natural language communication method that includes a dialogue of natural language communications. The communication participant is determined to be automated using a pre-defined adaptive interactive protocol that specifies natural language linguistic transformations defined in a sequence. The conversation can be transitioned to a communication method that is different form the natural language communication method in response to determining that the communication participant is automated.
Dynamic endpoint communication channels
The present disclosure relates generally to systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media for providing a concierge service to handle a wide variety of topics and user intents via a common interface. The concierge service can be part of a connection management system that can dynamically manage and facilitate conversations between a user making a request or providing an instruction and one or more endpoints for the purposes of fulfilling the request or instruction. Such dynamic management may include transferring a communication session to a social network member endpoint based on an intent identified within natural language communications, tracking a dynamic sentiment score, and automatically switching the communication session to another endpoint based on a change in the dynamic sentiment score.
Natural language processing while sound sensor is muted
A method includes generating first audio data based on sound detected by a sound sensor at a first time. The method further includes transmitting, via one or more communication interfaces, the first audio data to another device during a communication session based on a determination that the sound sensor is unmuted with respect to the communication session at the first time. The method further includes generating second audio data based on sound detected by the sound sensor at a second time. The method further includes refraining from transmitting the second audio data to the other device during the communication session based on a determination that the sound sensor is muted with respect to the communication session at the second time. The method further includes initiating a natural language processing operation on the second audio data based on detecting a wake phrase in the second audio data.
Call processing system and method of use
A system for accessing information via a voice device comprises a call router configured to initiate and receive calls and at least one application server in communication with the call router via a network. The at least one application server is configured to receive a call from the voice device and access a user account stored in a memory. The application server is further configured to access a plurality of contacts of the user account and receive a contact selection of a selected contact. The application server is further configured to assume an account identification of the user account for one or more communications and control a submission of a message associated with the assumed account identification to a mobile device of the selected contact.
WAKEWORD-LESS SPEECH DETECTION
A network, communications unit, and method employed for wakeword-less speech communication are disclosed, where a user's intent to talk with another user in a group may be accomplished without the use of a wakeword. These could include a network platform; and a plurality of communication units, each being comprised of a microphone, a speaker, and a processor, the latter being configured to receive speech data representative of audio spoken by the user; buffer the speech data; apply intent recognition of the buffered speech data including the use of natural language processing (NLP); open one or more audio communication channels based upon the application of intent recognition; receive speech data through one or more audio communication channels responsive to the buffered speech data; apply intent recognition to the received speech data; and close one or more audio communication channels based upon the application of second intent recognition.
Automatic After Call Social Messaging Connection Platform
This disclosure provides methods, systems, services, and platforms for automatically prompting a user of a mobile device to follow an entity on a social media network after a triggering event. This disclosure enables Mobile Network Operators to generate more followers on social media, and, thereby, connect better with potential customers or fans. When a business, group, or other entity has an active social media campaign, a message comprising instructions to launch a browser on a mobile device and navigate to the entity's social media page is sent automatically after a triggering event occurs.
