COMPUTERIZED SIMULTANEOUS INTERPRETATION SYSTEM AND NETWORK FACILITATING REAL-TIME CALLS AND MEETINGS
A computerized VoIP system which provides a computerized service for facilitating face-to-face and/or telephone meetings, in real time, between persons lacking a common language or having language barriers such as accents and dialects e.g. by utilizing or generating a networked worldwide community of Simultaneous Interpreters, using e.g. POTS (Plain Old Telephone Service), Smart Phone or any mobile phone. A platform may thereby be provided for professional simultaneous interpreters and business/private people, where interpreters from all over the world may translate any face-to-face meeting or telephone call between business people in any combination of languages, in real time.
SWITCH CONTROLLER FOR SEPARATING MULTIPLE PORTIONS OF CALL
Disclosed herein are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable storage media for collecting call data, feeding call data to applications, and providing advanced call features.
SESSION CREATION METHOD AND APPARATUS, AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A session creation method and an apparatus are provided. The method includes: sending, in a case that a first Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) session has been created among a first electronic device and N second electronic devices, a first REFER request to a third electronic device. The first REFER request is used for requesting to create a second SIP session with the third electronic device, and the third electronic device is at least one of the N second electronic devices. The method includes receiving a first response message fed back by the third electronic device in response to the first REFER request and creating the second SIP session in a case that the first response message indicates that the third electronic device agrees to create second SIP session. N is a positive integer.
Queue management of collaborative virtual waiting rooms
A request for a contact center agent interaction is received from a user device associated with a first user. The user device is connected to a virtual waiting room that includes waiting users of a contact center queue. The waiting users include a second user. from the second user A favorable indication of the first user is received from the second user. A position of the first user in the contact center queue is modified based on the favorable indication. Responsive to an indication to activate a private session between the user device and an agent device associated with a contact center agent, the first user is removed from the virtual waiting room.
PORTABLE MULTIFUNCTION DEVICE, METHOD, AND GRAPHICAL USER INTERFACE FOR CONFERENCE CALLING
The present disclosure generally relates to managing phone calls. In some embodiments, an electronic device with a touch screen displays a phone call user interface which includes informational items associated with phone calls, such as an add call affordance. In some embodiments, when the electronic device receives a request to initiate another phone and displays an additional user interface that includes a merge call affordance that replaces display of the add call affordance.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CREATING AND MANAGING BREAKOUT SESSIONS FOR A CONFERENCE SESSION
Systems and methods for creating, monitoring, and managing a breakout conference for a conference call are disclosed. The methods determine topics for breakout rooms and their complexity scores. A breakout room is created for the topics, including separate breakout rooms for complex topics. An expertise score based on a plurality of factors for each device associated with a participant is also calculated. Devices are assigned to separate breakout rooms based on either just the expertise score or if the expertise score meets the threshold of the complexity score. Performance within the breakout rooms is displayed in real-time, such as in a graph. A moderator schedule is generated based the performance within the breakout rooms, where priority is given to a breakout room that has a negative performance over a breakout room with a positive performance.
INDEPENDENT PARALLEL INTERACTION SPACE INSTANTIATION
Systems and methods for creating a new multiparty interaction among a subset of a plurality of participants in an existing multiparty interaction from within the existing multiparty interaction are described, wherein the new multiparty interaction is established based on authentications, presentation materials, and/or settings of the existing multiparty interaction.
DYNAMIC VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENT
Techniques for conducting a virtual event are described. One example method includes displaying, on a display screen of a computing device, a plurality of icons, each icon representing a different virtual event participant, wherein the plurality of icons includes a first icon representing a virtual event participant associated with the computing device; receiving, from an input device of the computing device, input representing a direction of movement for the first icon; and in response to receiving the input, moving the first icon on the display screen in the direction represented by the input.
BREAKOUT SESSION ASSIGNMENT BY DEVICE AFFILIATION
Presented herein are techniques in which a device connects a plurality of user devices to a communication session in which a plurality of participants of the respective plurality of user devices communicate using audio and/or video and determines respective locations of the plurality of user devices. The devices receives, from a particular user device of the plurality of user devices, a request to group the user devices into a plurality of groups to form one or more breakout communication sessions off of the communication session, assigns user devices to respective ones of the plurality of groups based on the respective locations such that user devices at a common location are assigned to a same group, and transmits information identifying the plurality of groups to the particular user device
System and method for managing calls
A computer-implemented method for managing calls in a collaboration environment is provided. The method includes receiving, by a processor, a call into a collaboration session of the collaboration environment. The method also includes identifying, by the processor, a user from a plurality of users associated with the collaboration session, based on at least one of contextual information regarding the call and information regarding the plurality of users. The method further includes providing, by the processor, an interface on a device associated with the identified user, wherein the interface enables the identified user to instruct the device to handle the call within the collaboration session.
