DYNAMIC CONTROL OF VOLUME LEVELS FOR PARTICIPANTS OF A VIDEO CONFERENCE
In one aspect, a device may include at least one processor and storage accessible to the at least one processor. The storage may include instructions executable by the at least one processor to facilitate a video conference and to determine different volume levels at which audio for different conference participants should be set. Each different volume level may be greater than zero. The instructions may also be executable to, based on the determination, control audio for the video conference according to the different volume levels. The determination may be based on something other than one of the conference participants specifying one or more of the different volume levels.
System and method for auto-initiating conference calls from a user device
Embodiments automatically establish a communication link with a conference platform using data received from a user device of a user. A conferencing device may interact with a user device to initiate a data transmission from the user device. An application on the user device may scan the contents of the user device for information associated one or more conference calls scheduled for a current time period. Upon identifying a matching conference call, the user device may transmit data associated with the conference call to the conferencing device. The application on the user device or the conferencing device may extract the call-in details (e.g. telephone number, conference code, conference PIN, URL or some other link to the conference) from the information associated with the conference call. The conferencing device may automatically initiate a call (e.g. establish the communication link) with the conference platform using the call-in details.
TELEPHONE NETWORK SYSTEM AND METHOD
Systems for and methods of delivering telephone calls using the combination of a data channel and a voice channel are disclosed. A data channel connection with the telephone handset may provide pre-call information used to set up incoming and outgoing calls which are ultimately connected using a voice channel. Use of the pre-call information may permit the same handset to be associated with multiple secondary telephone numbers from which calls appear to have been made and to which calls appear to have been placed.
Information processing apparatus, information processing system, information processing method, and non-transitory recording medium
An information processing apparatus, an information processing system, an information processing method and a non-transitory recording medium. The information processing apparatus detects one or more users using the information processing apparatus and notifies each user of remote service connection destination information required for connecting to a remote service using notification destination information for sending notification to the user associated with each detected user.
Intelligent teleconference operations in an internet of things (IoT) computing environment
Embodiments for intelligent teleconference operations in an Internet of Things (IoT) computing environment by a processor. A communication connection for a conference call session may be cognitively initiated or terminated with one or more users according to one or more parameters associated with a user profile, a schedule of the one or more users, activities of daily living (“ADL”), one or more contextual factors, or a combination thereof.
Network call method, server, call terminal, network call system, and storage medium
A network call method, a server, a call terminal, a network call system, and a storage medium are provided. The network call method includes: receiving a reservation request transmitted by a call reservation terminal, the reservation request including a first communication identifier of a first call terminal; generating a chat room identifier of a chat room in a social network application; generating a call reservation notification, the call reservation notification including an access link generated according to the chat room identifier; and transmitting the call reservation notification to a communication client of the first call terminal according to the first communication identifier of the first call terminal.

Selective conference digest
Various disclosed implementations involve processing and/or playback of a recording of a conference involving a plurality of conference participants. Some implementations disclosed herein involve receiving audio data corresponding to a recording of at least one conference involving a plurality of conference participants. In some examples, only a portion of the received audio data will be selected as playback audio data. The selection process may involve a topic selection process, a talkspurt filtering process and/or an acoustic feature selection process. Some examples involve receiving an indication of a target playback time duration. Selecting the portion of audio data may involve making a time duration of the playback audio data within a threshold time difference of the target playback time duration.
PARTICIPANT IS CALLED WHEN IT IS TIME TO JOIN A MEETING
A system to call a participant to join and connect to a meeting is described herein. The system includes a meeting server and a communication server. The meeting server is programmed to set the meeting and call a participant based on the response to a meeting request. The communication server is programmed to send the meeting request to the participant by one or more communication methods or protocols.
CONFERENCE CALLS AND MEETINGS VIA ELECTRONIC MESSAGING INTERFACE
Initiating a conference call includes receiving a conference call request message from an initiating user specifying a plurality of other users and determining an availability of the other users to receive conference call invitations. A conference call is initiated between the initiating user and one or more of the other users that are determined to be available. The availability of one or more of the other users determined to be unavailable is monitored and interaction with a conference call invitation by one or more of the other users determined to be unavailable is enabled upon their monitored availability changing from unavailable to available. The interaction with the conference call invitation by the other users is conditioned on whether the conference call is still in progress.
