A clothes hanger has two limbs, each of which has a limb arm. The limb arms are elastically connected together via a housing cassette. The housing cassette forms the apex of an angle, and the limb arms form the two legs of the angle. The size of the angle can be reduced by pivoting the limbs about a pivot axis, thereby building up a restoring force by means of the elastic connection. The limbs are secured against an accidental pivoting of the limb arms via at least one locking mechanism, and corresponding blocking elements of the locking mechanism or the locking mechanisms move away from each other or towards each other in the event of a pivoting movement of the limbs.

A hanger system including at least an upper assembly affixed to a vertically suspending location and which, in combination with a lower assembly, supports and tensions a garment therebetween to assist in either or both of de-wrinkling or steam assisted cleaning of the garment. The upper assembly includes vertically respositionable upper and lower support surface (e.g. door jamb) engaging portions. A stem extends downwardly from the upper assembly and is linearly repositionable in order to adjust a height of a garment. First and second hanger arms each have proximal and distal ends and define a support surface therebetween. Each proximal end has a stop. A knuckle having a hole extends from each proximal end. The pin passes through the holes along an axis, coupling the arms and hook whereby the arms are movable between extended and folded configurations. The stops abut when the arms are extended, and are separated when folded. The hanger has a center of gravity when the arms are extended and suspended by the hook such that the axis is angled relative to vertical in a first direction and the stops bias abutting. The arms each have a center of gravity such that angular movement of the axis past an unstable equilibrium causes the arms to move toward folded.

A hanging garment wrinkle remover is provided having a support member engageable with a garment. The support member is formed of a first member component in a biased removable engagement against or toward a second member component. With a garment engaged between the first and second member components gravity acting on the weight of the support member removes garment wrinkles over time. A hanger having slots to engage the support member and support the garment can also be provided.

Disclosed herein is a laundry hanger capable of allowing laundry to be easily put on and of being easily mounted to a rod of a washing rack installed on the ceiling of an apartment balcony or the like. The laundry hanger includes a plurality of hanger rods, a body unit, and an attachment unit. Laundry may be put on the hanger rods. The body unit includes a pair of mounting blocks, each having a plurality of hook grooves formed on one surface thereof such that the hanger rods may be fitted to the hook grooves to be arranged in parallel with each other. The attachment unit includes a coupling part formed at one end thereof so as to be rotatably coupled to the body unit, and a mounting part formed at the other end thereof so as to be detachably mounted to a rod.

There is provided a foldable hanger; a body; a vertical elongate member vertically moveably received in the body, wherein the elongate member has a stem and two branches branching from the stem in opposite directions; and two foldable arms operatively coupled to the body, wherein the two arms are symmetrical with the body, and each arm has a pivot extension extending from one end thereof, wherein the stem is disposed between the arms respectively, wherein each pivot extension extends toward the stem, wherein when the elongate member moves down, each branch pressure-contacts each pivot extension to allow each arm to pivot on each branch upwardly to be stretched.
