VIDEO ANALYTICS CAMERA SYSTEM FOR AN AEROSOL DELIVERY DEVICE
An aerosol delivery device includes a cartridge of aerosol precursor composition, and a control body coupled or coupleable to the cartridge. The control body includes a control component to control delivery of components of the aerosol precursor composition in response to detection of airflow through at least a portion of the cartridge or control body, and includes a camera system with a digital camera to capture video imagery of a scene in a field of view thereof. The camera system or the control component is configured to perform video content analytics on the video imagery to detect a temporal or spatial event in the scene, and transfer at least one of the video imagery or information indicative of the temporal or spatial event externally to a computing device configured to store or display the video imagery or information, or perform at least one control operation based on the information.

This invention provides an image capturing apparatus comprising an image capturing unit, and a communication unit for communicating with a distribution server via internet, wherein the image capturing apparatus comprises a time measuring unit for measuring, if a distribution instruction for live distribution using the distribution server has been given, an elapsed time since the instruction has been given; and a control unit for starting, if the elapsed time measured by the time measuring unit has reached a predetermined set time, distributing an image captured by the image capturing unit to the distribution server via the communication unit.
Enhanced image capture
Disclosed are techniques that provide a “best” picture taken within a few seconds of the moment when a capture command is received (e.g., when the “shutter” button is pressed). In some situations, several still images are automatically (that is, without the user's input) captured. These images are compared to find a “best” image that is presented to the photographer for consideration. Video is also captured automatically and analyzed to see if there is an action scene or other motion content around the time of the capture command. If the analysis reveals anything interesting, then the video clip is presented to the photographer. The video clip may be cropped to match the still-capture scene and to remove transitory parts. Higher-precision horizon detection may be provided based on motion analysis and on pixel-data analysis.

Techniques and apparatuses for highlighting media through weighting of people or contexts are described. This document describes techniques that allow a user to quickly and easily highlight media, such as through generating a highlight reel. The techniques also enable selection of context and person weightings by which to tailor highlight reels.
Image capture apparatus and control method therefor
An image capture apparatus comprises an image sensor and a control circuit that controls operations of the image sensor. The control circuit, in a case where a still image shooting instruction is input during moving image shooting that uses the image sensor, performs a first shot of still image shooting using the image sensor upon a time determined in advance elapsing from input of the shooting instruction, and, in a case where the shooting instruction is continuously input, controls the image sensor to perform still image shooting of a second shot onward during a blanking time period of the moving image shooting.

Disclosed are computerized methods and systems for providing digital image data in which there appears a captured instance of a point of interest located within a coverage area of the systems. Exemplary systems may include at least one image repository gateway for accessing one or more image data repositories which may store digital image data of images and videos acquired from within the system coverage area. The system may also include an image scanning engine to search through and access image data from the one or more image data repositories in accordance with an image data search query, selecting stored images and videos with geolocation tags indicating a location within a spatial distance of a location parameter of the image date query. The system may perform image searches and retrievals based on manually defined search queries. The system may also include an Image search query generator configured to auto-generate an image data search query to find a moving subject appearing in a previously retrieved image, wherein the image data search query for finding and or tracking may be based on an auto-predicted route of the subject derived from a previously retrieved or selected image.

Disclosed herein are information capture systems and related methods. An information capture system includes a sensor secured to an object configured to be involved with a possible event. The sensor is configured to detect one or more stimuli that are associated with the possible event, and transmit a sensor signal indicating data corresponding to the one or more stimuli. The information capture system also includes a recording device configured to record information responsive to a triggering event determined from the sensor signal. A method includes analyzing sensor data from the sensor, determining, from the sensor data, that a triggering event occurred, and recording post-trigger information following the determination of the triggering event.
