The ID acquisition section acquires ID information that specifies a print job sent from an information processing apparatus to an image forming apparatus. In a case in which the ID information is acquired and a beacon signal is received from a beacon transmitter, the position information acquisition section acquires, according to the received beacon information, position information relating to a position of the portable terminal relative to the image forming apparatus. If the position information meets a specific condition indicating the approach of the portable terminal to the image forming apparatus, the return instruction section instructs the image forming apparatus to return from a power-saving mode to a normal mode.

PULL PRINT SYSTEM THAT IMPROVES SECURITY PERFORMANCE
Provided is a pull printing system that is capable of improving security performance over that of a typical system. When authentication based on identification information and authentication information of a person providing a transmission instruction from a user terminal is successful, a pull printing server of the pull printing system correlates a printing job from the user terminal with identification information of a person providing an execution instruction from the user terminal, and spools the printing job. Described in detail herein are systems and methods for verification of a report of absence of a physical object from an assigned region. A mobile device may capture an image of a vacant region and transmit the image and GPS coordinates of the location of the vacant region to a video analysis module within a computing device. The video analysis module may perform video analytics on the image and verify the location of the vacant region. The video analysis module may verify the physical object is absent from the vacant region. In response to verification that the physical object is absent from the vacant region the video analysis module may trigger an event.
