Each time a print request including a plurality of setting values corresponding to a plurality of setting items including the M setting items is received, a controller of the printer may be configured to store number of times information in association with received information. In a case where first number of times information is stored in association with first received information and the first number of times information indicates that the number of times the print request was received is greater than or equal to a predetermined value, the controller may be configured to store first print setting information as new print setting information. The first print setting information may indicate M setting values indicated by the first received information.

A printing system includes a printer and an information processing device that includes a processor and a memory storing processor-executable instructions, the instructions being configured to, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to accept a print instruction, in response to accepting the print instruction, determine whether to instruct the printer to start a pre-printing operation based on preparation instruction information, in response to determining to instruct the printer to start the pre-printing operation, transmit the preparation instruction information to the printer, in response to determining to instruct the printer to start the pre-printing operation and transmitting the preparation instruction information to the printer, generate print data based on specified contents data, and transmit print instruction information to the printer.

A first printer may include a controller configured to: in a case where a first predetermined operation is accepted in a state where second printer identification information and specific service-related information are stored in association with each other in the server, cause the display unit to display a notification screen that prompts a second predetermined operation, the second predetermined operation being for changing a printer used for the service from a second printer to the first printer; and in a case where the second predetermined operation is accepted, send a printer changing request including first printer identification information to the server. In a case where the printer changing request is sent to the server, the first printer identification information is stored, instead of the second printer identification information, in association with the specific service-related information in the server.

A system for tracking the location of an electronic device includes an electronic device and a wireless location tag. The wireless location tag includes a microcontroller unit, and a modular connector interface configured to be communicatively coupled to a port of the electronic device. The wireless location tag is configured to establish an Internet connection to one or more backend electronic devices in response to detecting that the wireless location tag has been communicatively coupled to the port of the electronic device, obtain identifying information that is associated with the electronic device, and identify tag identifying information associated with the wireless location tag. The wireless location tag is also configured to send one or more instructions to the one or more backend electronic devices via the Internet connection, and send one or more ping messages to the one or more backend electronic devices.

A multi-function device (MFD) is disclosed. For example, the MFD includes a communication interface to establish a communication path with a remote server, a user interface to receive a request to create an electronic file based on a scan of a document, a processor, and a non-transitory computer-readable medium storing a plurality of instructions. The instructions when executed by the processor cause the processor to scan the document to create the electronic file of the document, generate an encryption code associated with the electronic file of the document that is scanned, and transmit the electronic file to the remote server.
