MANAGING PRINTED DOCUMENTS IN A DOCUMENT PROCESSING SYSTEM
A printed document manager manages printed documents and is separate from a Document Management System (DMS) that manages electronic soft copy documents also known as source documents. Documents in a DMS repository are registered in a postmark registry by a registration agent. When a document that is registered in the postmark registry is printed, a graphical symbol referred to as a “postmark” is generated and inserted into the print stream so the postmark is printed on the hard copy of the document. The printed document is logged in a printed document store along with metadata associated with the printed document. The postmark on the printed document can be used for one or more purposes, such as to determine whether the printed document can be shredded after use and to determine whether the printed document is current.
Image processing apparatus that processes image data including coded image
A controller of an image processing apparatus performs one or both of an enlargement process and a conversion process when a coded image in which information is coded is included in the image data. The enlargement process is a process of pasting an enlarged coded image instead of the coded image on the image data. The conversion process is a process of pasting decoded information instead of the coded image.

Methods, systems, and storage media for issuing and verifying a secondary cryptographic photo ID are disclosed. Exemplary implementations may: capture, using a scanning component of a printing device, a primary digital image of a primary photo ID; recognize, using a processing component of the printing device, alphanumeric information in the captured primary digital image; encrypt, using the processing component of the printing device, the recognized alphanumeric information; generate, using the processing component of the printing device, a digital watermark comprising the encrypted recognized alphanumeric information; recognize, using the processing component of the printing device, a photograph in the primary digital image; generate, using the processing component of the printing device, a secondary digital image comprising the recognized photograph and the generated digital watermark; and print, using a printing component of the printing device, a secondary photo ID comprising the secondary digital image.

The techniques include receiving a frame of a media content item; determining whether the frame of the media content item is signed based on an analysis of one or more pixels of the frame; and when the media content is signed, removing one or more restrictions on one or more functions on the device based on whether the one or more pixels on the frame meet one or more conditions, wherein the one or more functions enable the device to perform one or more operations on the frame of the media content item.

The processor is to generate a first representation of the image, receive second and third representations of the image via the network interface, determine a first similarity between the first representation and the second representation, determine a second similarity between the first representation and the third representation, compare the first similarity to a threshold, compare the second similarity to the threshold, and indicate whether the content is successfully shared with the remote device based on the comparison of the first similarity to the threshold and the comparison of the second similarity to the threshold.
