An image processing system includes plural image processing devices connected with each other by a network. In the one image processing device, in a case where a new job accepted by a job accepting unit may not be executed immediately, a control unit transmits image data related to the job to the other image processing device capable of image processing and causes the other image processing device to execute image processing. A non-transitory computer-readable medium stores program instructions executable by a processor of an information processing device that includes a storage, an operation interface, a display, and a communication interface configured to communicate with a plurality of devices. The program instructions are configured to, when executed by the processor, cause the information processing device to set a first device selected from among the plurality of devices as a target device to perform a particular process registered in the storage, when receiving an operation to change the target device from the first device to a second one of the plurality of devices via the operation interface, determine whether the second device is capable of performing the particular process, and control the display to display a result of the determination as to whether the second device is capable of performing the particular process.

In a further modification of the invention, the controller may control the notification of the linkage function when an image as the information is connected to an image associated with the operation assistant.

Provided is an industrial printing system that performs peer-to-peer distributed processing of variable content in variable printing for production printing. A variable attribute generating unit generates variable attribute information having content information that is variable content information of variable data for variable printing. A variable analyzing unit analyzes the content information of the variable attribute information generated by the variable attribute generating unit and determines other print server capable of processing the variable content of the variable data. A processing management unit that requests the other print server determined to be capable of processing by the variable analyzing unit to process the variable content.

An image forming apparatus according to an embodiment includes a communication interface for receiving image forming instruction information via a plurality of communication protocols. The image forming instruction information includes image data, and transmission information indicating the communication protocol used. An image forming section prints an image using one of a decolorable toner and a non-decolorable toner. A storage device stores correspondence information indicating, for each communication protocol, one of the decolorable toner and the non-decolorable toner for forming an image. A processor is programmed to determine the communication protocol with which the received image forming instruction information was transmitted. The processor determines, based on the correspondence information, one of the decolorable toner and the non-decolorable toner for forming an image, and controls the image forming section to print an image using the determined one of the decolorable toner and the non-decolorable toner.

An information processing device includes a controller that controls a notification of a linkage function executable by using plural devices, by transmitting information of the plural devices to an operation assistant. In a further modification of the invention, the controller may control the notification of the linkage function when an image as the information is connected to an image associated with the operation assistant.

The invention is directed to an outdoor device, preferably a string trimmer, having a hinged pole for folding the string trimmer. The hinge has an easy to use lock that allows for repeated folding of the trimmer for easy transport and storage. The string trimmer has a battery at a rear end of the pole near the handle, and a motor at a front end on the cutting head. An electrical cable is run from the battery to the motor to provide power to the motor. The hinge provides a protective sheath around the cable to protect it from damage when the string trimmer is folded and the cable might otherwise be exposed. Additionally, the string trimmer includes a guard around the cutting head that contacts a battery housing to secure the string trimmer in a folded position.
