METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR FILMING
This invention concerns a method of filming a subject to be projected as a Pepper's Ghost image. The method may comprise filming a subject under a lighting arrangement having one or more front lights for illuminating a front of a subject and one or more backlights. The lights may be controlled such that the total brightness of the one or more front lights, as measured of the subject, is less than or approximately the same as the total brightness of the one or more backlights, as measured at the subject. The subject may be located directly above one or more floor lights such the subject is illuminated from below by the one or more floor lights.
METHOD FOR CREATING A VARIABLE MODEL OF A FACE OF A PERSON
A method for creating a variable model of a face of a person, the method comprises: obtaining a non-riggable model of the face of the person; performing a first approximation process that comprises generating an intermediate variable model that approximates the non-riggable model, using an interactive variable model infrastructure; wherein the generating comprises iteratively changing shape parameters of the intermediate model until fulfilling a proximity condition; and performing a second approximation process that comprises generating the variable model, by iteratively modifying vertices.
GENERATING DYNAMIC VIRTUAL MASK LAYERS FOR CUTOUT REGIONS OF DISPLAY PANELS
Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide methods and apparatus for generating, in a display panel, a virtual mask layer around a cutout region for a front camera. The front camera may be positioned under the display panel and receive light through the cutout region. The mask layer may hide defects of the cutout region that does not have functional pixels. The disclosed techniques may improve aesthetic appearance of displays having punch-hole cameras with reduced hole sizes and increased production quality conformance rate.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND IMAGING DEVICE
Even in a case where the amount of incident light is small, a high-Quality captured image can be obtained.
An electronic device includes: a display unit; a first imaging unit that is disposed on a side opposite to a display surface of the display unit and is capable of capturing an image of light in an infrared light wavelength band that has passed through the display unit; a second imaging unit that is disposed on a side opposite to the display surface of the display unit and is capable of capturing as image of light in a visible light wavelength band that has passed through the display unit; and a correction unit that corrects image data imaged by the second imaging unit on the basis of image data imaged by the first imaging unit.
Generating a 3D visual representation of the 3D object using a neural network selected out of multiple neural networks
A method for generating a three dimensional (3D) visual representation of a sensed object that is three dimensional, the method comprises obtaining at least one 3D visual representation parameter, the visual representation parameters is selected out of a size parameter, a resolution parameter, and a resource consumption parameter; obtaining object information that represents the sensed object; selecting, based on the at least one parameter, a neural network for generating the visual representation of the sensed object; and generating the 3D visual representation of the 3D object by the selected neural network.
Initiating Real-Time Games in Video Communications
In one embodiment, a method includes, by a client system of a first user, presenting, by the client system, a display interface comprising a plurality of layers, where a first layer is a game container containing a first game, the display interface comprising an activatable element to access a video communication, receiving, by the client system, an input from the first user to initiate the video communication with a second user within the first layer of the display interface via a selection of the activatable element, generating, by the client system, a video container in a second layer of the display interface, where the second layer contains the video communication with the second user in a full-screen view, reducing, by the client system, the first layer containing the game container to a thumbnail within the display interface, and overlaying, by the client system, the first layer onto the second layer.
COMPUTING DEVICE WITH ADJUSTABLE CAMERA
A device can include a processor; memory accessible to the processor; a housing that includes a bezel, a display operatively coupled to the processor, an adjustable extension recess and an adjustable extension extendible outwardly from the bezel and the display; and a camera mountable to the adjustable extension.
Digital overlay
Systems and methods for using a digital overlay screen during a video telecommunication. The digital overlay screen comprises content, such as notes or a script, which a presenter may reference during said video telecommunication. The digital overlay screen may tether to an underlying network conferencing program or a video captured from an image capturing device of a user's device. The digital overlay screen is arranged relative to the image capturing device such that the presenter can review the content therein while simultaneously establishing and maintaining a line of sight with the device. The digital overlay screen may overlay on a video feed of the telecommunications without distorting said feed, and without being transmitted or visible to third party recipients of the presentation.
NFMI BASED ROBUSTNESS
One example discloses an apparatus for near-field magnetic induction (NFMI) based robustness, including: a first wireless device including a first wireless signal interface and a first NFMI signal interface; wherein the first wireless signal interface is configured to receive a data set from a third wireless device; wherein the first NFMI signal interface is configured to communicate with a second wireless device through a second NFMI signal interface; and wherein the first wireless device is configured to detect an error in the data set received from the third wireless device and in response to detecting the error configure the first NFMI signal interface to receive the data set from the second wireless device through the second NFMI signal interface.
