VISUAL TARGET DISPLAY DEVICE, VISUAL TARGET PRESENTATION METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
Provided is a visual target display device or a visual target presentation method which can test the cone-specific visual function more accurately in a device that displays a visual target, of a chromatic color, for testing the color-related visual function of a subject or a method of presenting the visual target. A visual target of a chromatic color and a background around the visual target are presented in such a way that the brightness of the background is a numerical value between a numerical value 10% less than the brightness of the visual target and a numerical value 10% greater than the brightness of the visual target and a combination of the color of the visual target and the color of the background is a combination of colors which are in a relationship of confusion colors in dichromatism.
DISPLAY METHOD, DISPLAY SYSTEM, AND DISPLAY APPARATUS
A display method includes generating first angle information representing an installation angle of a first display apparatus based on a detection value of a sensor provided in the first display apparatus, generating second angle information representing an installation angle of a second display apparatus based on a detection value of a sensor provided in the second display apparatus, and reporting information representing a difference between the installation angle of the first display apparatus represented by the first angle information and the installation angle of the second display apparatus represented by the second angle information by the second display apparatus.
Laser projection device, method for operating same, and laser projector
A laser projection device that includes at least one laser diode for generating at least one laser beam, and at least one movable mirror element for deflecting the at least one laser beam. The laser projection device includes at least one control and/or regulation unit that is designed to control and/or regulate a brightness of the at least one laser beam as a function of a relative deflection speed of the at least one laser beam.
DISPLAY APPARATUS, ITS CONTROL METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A display apparatus includes a display unit, an acquiring unit configured to acquire a captured image generated by capturing a displayed image, which is displayed by the display unit, by an image pickup apparatus, and a control unit configured to cause the display unit to display the captured image together with or instead of the displayed image. The control unit causes the display unit to stop displaying the captured image when the image pickup apparatus captures the displayed image.
Parameter adjusting method and projector
A parameter adjusting method is applied to a projector having an ambient light sensor, a database and a digital micromirror device. The parameter adjusting method includes analyzing a detection signal generated by the ambient light sensor to acquire an environmental light datum, comparing the environmental light datum with a lookup table of the database to compute at least one compensation parameter, and adjusting an amount of reflection light generated by the digital micromirror device in accordance with the at least one compensation parameter for controlling the projector to output a calibrated projection image in response to compensation of the environmental light datum.
System and method for a multi-primary wide gamut color system
The present invention includes systems and methods for a multi-primary color system for display. A multi-primary color system increases the number of primary colors available in a color system and color system equipment. Increasing the number of primary colors reduces metameric errors from viewer to viewer. One embodiment of the multi-primary color system includes Red, Green, Blue, Cyan, Yellow, and Magenta primaries. The systems of the present invention maintain compatibility with existing color systems and equipment and provide systems for backwards compatibility with older color systems.
Projector calibration method and projection system using the same
The invention provides a projector calibration method for forming a spherical target image at a viewing point. The projector calibration method includes the following steps. A first preset image is projected by a first projector to a dome screen, and a first deformed image is obtained by capturing an image of the dome screen using a first camera. A spatial relationship between the first projector, the first camera, and the dome screen is calculated according to the first preset image and the first deformed image. A first prewarp image is generated according to a target image, a spatial relationship between the first projector and the dome screen, and a spatial relationship between the dome screen and the viewing point. Projection is performed by the first projector according to the first prewarp image. In addition, a projection system using the method is also provided.
Holographic projection
A holographic projector comprises an image processing engine arranged to, a hologram engine and a display engine. The image processing engine is arranged to receive a source image for projection. The source image comprises a first colour component and a second colour component. The image processing engine is further arranged to form a first colour secondary image from the first colour component by nulling alternate pixel values of the first colour component in accordance with a first checkerboard pattern. The image processing engine is further arranged to form a second colour secondary image from the second colour component by nulling alternate pixel values of the second colour component in accordance with a second checkerboard pattern. The first checkerboard pattern is opposite to the second checkerboard pattern. The hologram engine is arranged to determine a first colour hologram corresponding to the first colour secondary image and a second colour hologram corresponding to the second colour secondary image. The display engine is arranged to form a first colour holographic reconstruction from the first colour hologram and a second colour holographic reconstruction from the second colour hologram.
Object feature visualization apparatus and methods
An object feature visualization system is disclosed. The system may include a computing device that generates video-mapped images to project onto physical objects. The video-mapped images may include features to be projected onto the objects. The projection of a video-mapped image onto the physical object allows for the visualization of the feature on the object. In some examples, the computing device receives a feature selection for a particular object, and generates a video-mapped image with the selected feature to provide to a projector to project the video-mapped image onto the physical object. In some examples, a user is able to select one or more features for one or more objects of a room display via a user interface. The system then projects video-mapped images with the selected features onto the physical objects. The system may allow a user to save feature selections, and to purchase or request additional information about objects with selected features.
PROJECTION METHOD AND PROJECTOR
A projection method includes detecting a first section formed of a flat surface at a projection surface, detecting a second section formed of a concave surface at the projection surface, projecting image light in a first visual aspect onto the first section by a projector, and projecting image light in a second visual aspect different from the first visual aspect onto the second section by the projector.
