A system for verifying a user device for authorizing access to a wagering portal comprising: a server system comprising at least one server, at least one database, and at least one user device; a plurality of operable rules populated on said server system wherein said operable rules are met by actions performed by scanning by the user device one or more tags positioned within a geofence within a venue; verifying an identification card or another verification data confirm age of the user; verifying a location by determining whether the scan by the user device of the first tag was within a geofence corresponding to the venue; and upon verifying the age and a location, redirecting the user device from a server, a URL, or a Web app to a wagering portal.

A method includes receiving a video input, receiving an indication of a first segment type corresponding to a first workout activity being performed in the video input, and generating a segmented timeline with the processor, the segmented timeline including a plurality of segments, and at least one segment of the plurality of segments corresponding to the first workout activity. The method further includes generating a user interface with the processor, the user interface including the segmented timeline displayed together with at least part of the video input. The method also includes providing the user interface to a plurality of exercise machines via a network.

A geolocationing system and method for providing awareness in a multi-space environment, such as a hospitality environment or educational environment, are presented. In one embodiment of the geolocationing system, a vertical and horizontal array of gateway devices is provided. Each gateway device includes a gateway device identification providing an accurately-known fixed location within the multi-space environment. Each gateway device includes a wireless transceiver that receives a beacon signal from a proximate wireless-enabled personal locator device. The gateway devices, in turn, send gateway signals to a server, which determines estimated location of the wireless-enabled personal locator device.

Methods and systems for selecting and delivering content are provided. More particularly, content can be delivered to an output device from a user device through a device adaptor, such as an over-the-top (OTT) device. The OTT device or devices available to the user device are determined by a communication server. A hospitality property management tool and system and method for use of the same are disclosed. In one embodiment of the system, set-top boxes are located in respective rooms at a hospitality establishment. The set-top boxes are joined in network communication with environmental amenities, such as lights and a thermostat that respectively control lighting and temperature. The set-top boxes utilize an unoccupied room profile and occupied room profile to set the environmental conditions, such as lighting and temperature, in the rooms. A guest preference profile may be activated within a room to provide guest-specific environmental conditions in the room associated with the guest.

A method and system are provided for streaming a video game from a server to a client. One example system includes the server configured to generate video frames for the video game responsive to input received from the client. An encoder that processes the video frames to generate compressed video frames and storing past encoder states in memory associated with the encoder. The server is configured to transmit the compressed video frames to the client. The server is configured to receive a feedback signal from the client to determine when one or more of the compressed video frames that were sent were not been received by the client. The encoder is configured to generate one or more next video frames as compressed video frames that are dependent on compressed video frames that are known to have been successfully received based on the feedback signal.

A set-top box with enhanced features and system and method for use of the same are disclosed. In one embodiment of the set-top box, the set-top box is deployed to provide an interactive portal in a hospitality establishment having multiple rooms, such as a hotel. The set-top box generates a default interactive portal as well as a guest-specific interactive portal, which is generated from a guest configuration profile having information including guest identification, a guest channel preference presentation, and a guest service preference presentation with guest account information. The guest configuration profile may also enable the creation of a local area wireless network with substantially the same behavior as the guest's home wireless network. The guest configuration profile may further enable the control of in-room amenities, such as temperature control, lighting, shades, and availability, for example.
