Metadata media content tagging
Various arrangements for metadata tagging of video content are presented. A request to add a metadata tag to be linked with a video content instance may be received. A metadata integration database to link the spoken metadata tag with the video content instance may be updated.
Use of rendered media to assess delays in media distribution systems
Techniques are disclosed for measuring propagation delay of a media distribution system based on content output by rendering devices. An output from an output device of the media distribution system may be captured and a token may be detected from the captured content. A timecode may be derived from the detected token. The system's propagation delay may be determined from the derived timecode and may provide a basis to analyze system delays and other processing artifacts. In this manner, propagation artifacts may be estimated between multiple rendering devices that lack controls to synchronize their operation.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REAL-TIME ADJUSTMENT OF VOLUME DURING LIVE BROADCASTING
The disclosure discloses a system and method for real-time adjustment of a volume during live broadcasting, the system being arranged in a live broadcasting backend, wherein the system includes a transcoder and a volume adjusting device, wherein the transcoder includes a decoding unit and an encoding unit, wherein the decoding unit is configured to decode in real time a live broadcasting audio and video uploaded to the live broadcasting backend into original audio and video signals; and the encoding unit is configured to encode in real time the original audio and video signals into encoded audio and video signals; and the volume adjusting device is arranged between the decoding unit and the encoding unit, and configured to adjust the volume of the original audio signal output by the decoding unit to the encoding unit, in response to a volume adjusting instruction.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FLEXIBLE VIDEO CONSTRUCTION
System and method for flexible video construction, particularly of a personalized video clip which provides instructions to a viewer with regard to health and wellness. An ordered list of video input files is chained together, to create a single output video file using a chosen container. Timestamp values are tracked, to ensure synchronization of multiple joined clips, optionally using adjustments of the audio channel or the video channel. A video construction server utilizes information from multiple sources, to construct the video clip.
ENCODING AND DECODING OF AUDIO SIGNALS
An audio signal (X) is represented by a bitstream (B) segmented into frames. An audio processing system (500) comprises a buffer (510) and a decoding section (520). The buffer joins sets of audio data (D.sub.1; D.sub.2, . . . , D.sub.N) carried by N respective frames (F.sub.1, F.sub.2, . . . , F.sub.N) into one decodable set of audio data (D) corresponding to a first frame rate and to a first number of samples of the audio signal per frame. The frames have a second frame rate corresponding to a second number of samples of the audio signal per frame. The first number of samples is N times the second number of samples. The decoding section decodes the decodable set of audio data into a segment of the audio signal by at least employing signal synthesis, based on the decodable set of audio data, with a stride corresponding to the first number of samples of the audio signal.
Device and method for capturing, processing, linking and monetizing a plurality of video and audio recordings from different points of view (POV)
A mobile communication device having a processor and set of processor readable code of instructions that identifies and enables multiple mobile communication devices in a predetermined geographic region (geo-fence) to simultaneously capture audio video recordings (the “recordings”) of an event or scene from varying POV in the same time and space and automatically uploads the recordings to a remote server which bundles, processes and optimizes the plurality of audio video recordings for distribution and monetization. The instant invention provides instant access to the recording feature when opened and allows a limited amount of recording time, such as up to sixty (60) seconds to record a particular event in desired region. Audio is also captured during the recording. A user may be given a predetermined amount of time, such as five (5) seconds, to delete the recording. The instant invention streamlines and processes the collected videos and audios of the same event to remove visual and audio harmonics and irregularities. The instant invention also identifies mobile devices nearest a preidentified area of an event of interest and pushes an alert to these devices offering a recording opportunity of the event to the users which may be accepted so as to record and upload the event while encouraging proximal users to also record and upload the event from their unique POV.
Adaptive streaming with demuxed audio and video tracks
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, accessing adaptive streaming information for a multimedia content segment, determining available access bandwidths for a plurality of video tracks and a plurality of audio tracks identified by the adaptive streaming information, selecting one of a plurality of candidate track pairings identified by the adaptive streaming information based on the available access bandwidths, obtaining video content of the multimedia content segment via a video track of the selected track pairing, and obtaining audio content of the multimedia content segment via an audio track of the selected track pairing. Other embodiments are disclosed.
System and method for implementing a subscription-based social media platform
Systems and methods for implementing a subscription-based social media or fan club platform are provided. A content creator generates live content on a mobile device and sends requests to a server for initializing a live stream from the mobile device. The server sends requests to encoding service providers. The encoded live content is send to a content storage server. Subscribers of the social media or fan club platform can access the live content on their mobile devices from the content storage server.
Allocation of video recording functionality
A system may receive a plurality of requests to record a plurality of programs. Based on these requests, resources may be provisioned for transcoding variable bit rate streams into constant bit rate streams. Resources may be provisioned based on assigning transcoding tasks to an existing set of deployed devices in which the transcoding tasks correspond to the plurality of requests. Resources may further be provisioned based on incrementally deploying an additional device to the existing set of deployed devices when the transcoding capacity reaches a certain level.
SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND STORAGE MEDIA FOR UPDATING MEDIA STREAM METADATA IN A MANIFEST CORRESPONDING A MEDIA STREAM PACKAGE
Systems, methods, and storage media for updating a media stream manifest corresponding a media stream package are disclosed. Exemplary implementations may: receive an original manifest corresponding to a media stream and a revised manifest corresponding to an updated version of the media stream; determine an identifier of the track of the media stream based on a combination of metadata in the original manifest; determine an identifier of a corresponding track of the updated version of the media stream based on a combination of metadata in the revised manifest; determine new metadata in the revised manifest that is not included in the existing manifest; generate a delta manifest of the new metadata; and insert the new metadata into the corresponding portions of original manifest and storing the resulting data structure to a data store associated with stored media objects for the updated to thereby generate a final manifest.
