A method includes that a media asset server receives an identifier and a new-language file of a target video and converts the new-language file into a new-language medium file. The media asset server finds a first index file based on the identifier of the target video, and obtains a second index file based on a storage address of the new-language medium file on the media asset server. The media asset server sends the new-language medium file and the second index file to a content delivery server. The content delivery server replaces the storage address of the new-language medium file on the media asset server in the second index file with a storage address of the new-language medium file on the content delivery server to obtain a third index file. The content delivery server generates a first URL of the target video.

A method of communicating an alert includes: encoding data received from a plurality of sources by a central content controller (CCC) and determining existence of one or more alerts. If no alerts exist, the encoded data is assigned as streams to subchannels. For existing alerts, a market area (MA) is determined and the alert is assigned as a stream to a data subchannel and the encoded data is assigned as streams to remaining subchannels. For each MA without an applicable alert, the encoded data is assigned as streams to the subchannels. The assigned data is transmitted to regional controllers (RCs) for broadcasting to the associated MAs.

Each segment of the plurality of media guidance data segments includes a plurality of media asset identifiers and is navigationally linked to at least one other media guidance data segment. The method further involves generating for display the media asset identifiers of the first media guidance data segment. While generating for display the media asset identifiers of the first media guidance data segment, a first user input corresponding to navigating to the media asset identifiers of a linked media guidance data segment is received. In response to receiving the first user input, the linked media guidance data segment is retrieved, and the media asset identifiers of the linked media guidance data segment are generated for display.
